Good trip, good itinerary by jimjohns

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

We enjoyed the trip. The ship and service were excellent. Many, many thanks to Hayley Williams. Again, worst aspect was the lack of internet - it was extremely poor which in today's world is a huge factor. People need to be able to conduct business, check on accounts and family, etc. We have had two previous tours with Viking, the internet on those ships was much better.

We were disappointed by tr83803845

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Again, i was disappointed in the “luxury” tour. I did not feel that it lived up to its reputation . Comcei There was very little, if any interaction with other passengers or crew. In speaking with a few other first time cruisers, there was a familiar feeling. The WiFI was horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Not enough tours of overall places that were moderate or less strenous. We were under the impression that young children were not allowed on ship. There were several very young children, often disruptive.

Trip of a life time! by JohnGonzo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

This was a trip of a lifetime because of the locations and family heritage. The ports were great and the trip overall was outstanding. We saw some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. We fully agree that Ireland is the "land of 40 shades of green". Absolutely beautiful. We had so much fun on this trip because we were able to go places we've never been, met up with friends from a previous Regent cruise and had a wonderful time with them. We had outstanding food and service throughout most of the trip. Special recognition to Jonahtan in the pool bar! We had the opportunity to visit some great cities. We would go on another Regent Cruise again however we will choose a newer ship and be much more careful to view the details of the suite we choose.

Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Beautiful weather. The excursions were a bit on the early side but were informative and we learned many things. A few excursions were a boat cruise which we really enjoyed. Lots of walking!

The Mystery Cruise by cdrrachelle

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Regent handled the disruption as best they could. I am glad we chose to take the air through Regent as everything was changed at the last minute to get us into the alternate departure port of Istanbul a day earlier that initially planned, and put us up a a very nice hotel. we were initially not happy with our cabin, which was a mistate of booking on my part. However, I asked at the front desk about getting another cabin or getting a larger cabin. He was busy the first day and sid I would not know anything until the next day. He never got back to me.

Forget Tunisia. Wasn't in the original cruise we paid for then Regent did a bait and switch by Scheidemann

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Substituting Tunisia for an Italy stop, after we paid for the cruise was NOT ACCEPTABLE. Also, despite everything I wrote, an overall rating of 4.0 was calculated automatically by this review site. It was a 3.8 max. Why even do a review if a calculation is made "automatically!

As expected and anticipated, the RSSC experience was excellent. Cabin and ship staff were very good. Marked improvement in the entertainment onboard. Quality of food has also improved - back to previous standards.

Lovely cruise in the Amazon by jww5531nc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

Biggest issue was air travel. Missed flight connection. Next available flight the following day and only coach seats in the middle. Flew 10 hours to a different city with a 5 hour layover. Missed two days of touring Rio.

Wonderful Experience by SMNCincy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager

This tour offered a lot of variety at each port - which we loved. A good mix of scenery, wildlife and cities. Because of the area it limits the things you can do on the ship as they have no dome over the pool and it was cool and windy a lot of the days at sea.

South American cruise with a wide variety of excursions most if which were pre-paid. by llrjs50

Very culturally enlightening cruise. My husband and I like new experiences and of course meeting new people. We were able to do that and enjoy good wine and food at the same time.

A disappointing cruise by hlevey5225

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

We've always heard that Regent is the best of the best but did not find it to be so. We were disappointed with the quality and selection of the food in the restaurants and they closed too early. We had three excursions canceled at the last minute, making us feel that there was not good value. We also had issues with the airline arrangements.

Need more attention to detail by happybobm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Pretty good overall, but Regent just missed on a lot of little things. I already noted some of the room service and dining issues. They also changed the times on every tour from what we originally signed up for. They actually made multiple changes on a few tours sometimes causing big crowds and lines in the waiting areas to be called to leave the ship. The last thing we need during a pandemic is to be in a big group because of time management issues. Also on many tours the times were changed that made it impossible for us to get lunch on board and there were no lunch options on the tours. Finally on our last night on board we had a reservation at the steak specialty restaurant. When we got there the host told me I had to put on a pair of pants even though the dress code was clearly relaxed to casual because of disembarkation the next day. I pointed that out and he told me that was a mistake and that it was ok to wear jeans, a t-shirt anything but the dress pair of shots I had on. I had to go to the room, unpack and put on a pair of jeans. This caused us to be seated 20+ minutes late. My wife and I both ordered prime rib. The waiter came back 15 minutes later to tell us there were out of prime rib. I cannot help but think if we were seated on time that we would have received our first choice of meals. I went back to the room and reread the dress code and it clearly states that shorts are acceptable on casual nights, so I am still pissed off about having to change. The dress code at evening meals was never enforced. I saw people in tennis shoes, t-shits, jeans, etc the entire trip when the dress code was not casual. Not sure why I was singled out but there is no excuse for it.

Regent Has Made Us Believers by mikesweeney73

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

The biggest disappointment with this cruise was the cancellation of both Moroccan ports of call. Casablanca was important to our group of six (three couples). These ports were replaced with an additional At Sea day and a visit to Gibraltar. We may not have booked this cruise without the Moroccan ports of call in the itinerary. Overall we were impressed by the Regent experience. Good value -top tier service.

A Memorable Enjoyable Historic Cruise by ceft

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Other (Asia/Africa/Middle East)

Overall the cruise was great. The food and service in the Speciality Restaurants were very good. Also the main dining room Compass Rose was also good. The internet was extremely poor and the nightly shows in the theatre were average, nothing outstanding.

AA was awful in handling a broken seat. The entire experience, ship, staff, food was deteriorated from the last time we used Regent. by nelsong

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

In short, Regent overall experience has deteriorated sine the last cruise and ship we were on. We have taken Crystal, with a far better ship and level of onboard facilities, trained and caring staff and quality of dining. Having also cruised on Oceania, supposedly a tier down from Regent, the overall experience was about the same, at a lower cost. Ninety-Five percent of passengers were in lower coast cabins than a Seven seas Suite, yet we couldn't get a decent seat in Compass Rose or any other recognition throughout the ship as a premier level passenger. The value for the premium prices is not there.

Excellent Onboard Experience, but...... by SunseekerChuck

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Everything onboard the ship was EXQUISITE! Unfortunately we felt so cheated by the poor tours that Regent had arranged. The tour guides were either disorganized or unable to communicate and we just left feeling shortchanged. We've been on other cruises where the cruise ship company had arranged really enriching and wonderful excursions. Sadly this is the only area Regent fell short. But the experience on board did exceed all of our expectations.
