Be prepared for a smaller ship experience. At one point when the stabilizers were pulled in due to shallow seas, it was very difficult to stand, let alone walk. Even with the stabilizers deployed, the ride was rough.

If you don't book your pre stay hotel and flights with Regent then assume you will have to make all the transfer reservations yourself.

Regent is a so called luxury line. But don't expect too much because of the classification, some go away dissatisfied since they wanted an utopian voyage or something whimsical--- Lower your expectations.

On the first day explain to the room stewards your exact drink requirements to be stocked in the refridgerator. Make sure that you have been supplied with bath robes and umbrella as they may charge you if they are not in the room when you disembark.

Don't do it. The ship died in KetchikanDon't do it. The ship broke down and catch a can and we were stuck at port for 13 hours. We completely missed Juneau Alaska. The only recompense they have offered is $750 off of a future cruise.
