For a quiet spot during the day, head to the Safari Club. Sometimes booked for private events or art auctions, otherwise it is dormant until the evening. It's got lovely window view that runs across the entire stern of the ship.

Workout area could use more TV's to watch during the use of the facility. Steak dinner in the specialty restaurant top notch.

Do your own research about each prot and how to get into town because cruise staff is not interested or helpful if you are not taking an excursion.

Get a drink package ahead of time, even if it is just Soda. There is only hot coffee, tea and water that is free....Bottled water and all other drinks have a significant price tag attached.

Do your homework on the ports. The ship gives out little information because they want you to buy their excursion. Some of which had questionable value. This is important since the ship descriptions are incredibly vague making it difficult to make a good choice.

If you plan to drink at least three soft drinks per day, the soda package is worth it. Otherwise, plan on being charged $3 USD for a can of Coke (fountain soda is served only to guests who purchase the package).

This is a 16 night cruise. Meet the staff, passengers, and enjoy life. There will be lots to see (pun intended) so get out and enjoy. The history to the Vikings on the islands was fascinating. Iceland with its thermal energy was interesting. There is just lots to see and enjoy.

If you want to see, or participate in, activities or shows in the centrum, get there early. Space is at a premium for those activities.

See Gabi from Brazil at the spa! Fantastic! Wait to see what the daily deals are in the spa - worth it! Internet packages are terrible and internet rarely worked. Not worth the money.

The cruise director Carley B and her staff were excellent. We also saw the Captain all the time. Not sure who was driving the ship.

Thermal Suites was so welcome, it relaxed us every day of the cruise. Solarium and lunch food was a must every day. We felt the food served in the Windjammer and our evening meals were comparable to our trips on the Allure of the Seas which is better than other cruises we have taken.

My tip is to get to the elevators early if you plan on making it down to dinner on time. The elevators were very problematic. Waited as long as 15 minutes to get on one. Couldn't walk because of bad hip.
