Satisfied the need to get away! by MurrayHunt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Serenade of the Seas

Overall we were happy with the trip. The cities were safe and the pushy hassel that you get in the islands with hair braders such were no exisant. Look forward to revisiting

Good service, ship is due for update by LaCornista

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

This was my first cruise on a smaller-sized ship. I had no issues with crowding or long waits to get served anywhere. Tons of little nooks and crannies to sit and relax/read/talk/people watch. Lots of eclectic artwork around the ship. Several different types of public spaces. Good internet. Even with the couple of negative items I mentioned above, I had a great time and would sail RC again, although I’d probably go with a newer ship or one closer to having been refurbished.

Enjoyed it fully by glenncan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

We were with a line dance group. Royal Caribbean was a great host for this event. They made our event a success. I highly recommend traveling with friends and groups of people you know. You can spend as much or a little time with the group as you want

Great Trip, Boat could use a bit of updating by shannybells

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Overall we loved the cruise, staff and ports! So much to do and so much fun! We think the ship could use some minor upgrades and that the disembarking process could be better.

Best Cruise Out of 12 by lsatwell

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas

We had a wonderful time on this cruise. Even though we were detoured to Portland, Maine because of the hurricane it turned out just fine. We had never been to Maine so it was really nice to see how laid back Portland was and to enjoy a good fresh lobster meal. Bermuda was beautiful. I am so glad that we chose to go out of Boston. We spent extra time there after the cruise enjoying all the history, shops and restaurants.

Dodging hurricanes by mgreen542

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

A nice interlude between our New England road trip and our Canadian snowbird cruise, Bermuda was an easy no hassle cruise. The Serenade is a beautiful ship and the staff outstanding.

7 day cruise from Boston to Bermuda. Boston is great to board the ship. The food at the buffet was the same every day. The disembarking was horrible.

Serenade Is a Wonderful Ship by CruiseQueenNH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Serenade of the Seas

Awesome, but too short. We were delayed a day but we were refunded one night's stay, porting fees, and packages were prorated down a day. Plus, we got a free onboard credit.

Not my favorite by lmdespres

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was not my favorite cruise. Found it very boring. Bermuda is beautiful. Also lost a day due to the ship not being able to get to Boston. Instead of spending 2 days in Bermuda only got 8 hours which was disappointing.

Great cruise by grammie217

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

Because of Hurricane Dorian, we did not go to Sydney or Halifax. Our captain was extremely good in keeping us out of harms way. We hunkered down in Sept-iles, Quebec for 2 days.

Top marks for RC crew! by CruzerGuys

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

Absolutely fabulous cruise. We have done several TAs but this was the most northern one and very port-intensive - not normal for TAs. As usual with RC, the crew was fab!

Great itinerary. Had to change course due to hurricane Dorian. Visited Sep-Iles Quebec instead of Sydney and Halifax Nova Scotia. Very good food and excellent service.

The ship was very nice and modern although it has 18 years of service under its belt although for a shopper it is not the best ship in mind. The room was very big for a indoor cabin. Services were good by liaam123

Really fun for a first cruise. Rained a lot at sea, but that is normal for Norway.

Baltic Cruise - Royal Serenade of the Seas by Tomcruising

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Serenade of the Seas

This was our very first cruise. Unfortunately the airline lost our luggage and it caught up to us 48 hours later. Royal and it’s staff was amazingly compassionate about the ordeal and did everything in their power to accommodate us even though it was not their fault. We can not say enough about our experience even though it started on the wrong foot.

Highly recommend the Cruise by awc9999

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Overall it was a great Itinerary and the locations are fabulous, the Ship was a bit tired looking and some staff were not as friendly as they usually are. But the locations and stops are worth it. its a great cruise with spectacular views
