There are several dinning arrangements and if you want to request a certain table they will try to accommodate that request.

Lower decks like Emerald experience less sway of ocean swells when you're in open waters of the Pacific. Important if you're sensitive to motion.

Go early to the Princess Theater for the evening shows if you want to get a seat, or go to the late show.

Arrive 30 minutes before show-time to the lounges if you want to find a seat -- they fill up pretty fast.

Walk ALL the public areas upon boarding so that you know all of your options for dining locations, especially the buffet area.

Make anytime dining reservations by phone early they only take 20% reservations. Happy hour is 3:00 - 4:00 in the wheelhouse bar buy one the second is a dollar. There is one night of no smoking in the casino. The theatre 6th floor entrance usually has seats down in front.
