Review summary

As a resident of California, this cruise was a laid back one for us.  We have been to all the ports in the past, so we were not over anxious to see "everything".  The best part was the ship was in port for many hours which gave people the time they needed to go ashore and visit.  All of the ports dropped you off right downtown so it was easy to get off the ship and find something to do without paying for excursions.  The entertainment was excellent at night.  The food was good.  I know it is hard to feel several thousand people each meal but I would love to have my food hotter.  I think that is just the nature of the beast with cruises.  We had a great time as we visited relatives in each port.  Just fun.

I didn't see any miserable people on that cruise. You must have been disguised as a happy person

The food selection was poor on Princess Ruby, always cold and the quality was poor also. I enjoyed going into Port to get a decent meal. The Lido deck was miseable, looking for a place to sit was next to impossible. It's been a long time since I sailed on Princess and I don't have plans to repeat a Princess Cruise in the future. Trying to see a show was the worse, Senior Citizens get to the show 30 to 45 minutes before the show, so most of the seats are occupied. The Casino was small and very few winners and or bonus games.
