This was my first cruise. Embarkation was long but there were no huge problems. I was surprised but ok with security
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We loved the dining room and our Aren Allalgue and Verona Durcic were great. Aren gave us special attention every night and made us feel pampered. He knew all of our names every night. Incredible. Food was wonderful.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
It was too cold to use the pools for me however my 8 year old granddaughter enjoyed it several times. We went to 2 shows, an art auction, various live music venues, shopping, the library and recent movies in our room. The spa was wonderful. The best massage experience I have ever had. My daughter in law enjoyed the fitness center.

Ship Quality

This was my first cruise and I enjoyed the ship, layout, and she was well maintained. No issues.
Cabin / Stateroom

Great place to relax. It was without windows and I thought that might bother me. It never did. Clever placement of mirrors made the room seem bigger. The beds and pillows were great. TV operated without any problem.
Ship tip
Learn ship layout quickly. They give a map use it. Read carefully daily activities. I missed some early in cruise.
Perfect weather, interesting town. I enjoyed the stores and used the coupons. Town was easy to navigate. I’m 65 and my mom is 86. No problem here😎 loved tram. Affordable and beautiful views.
We loved Skagway and white pass Yukon route train was wonderful experience. Worth every penny. Views and narrator were awesome. Take an hour and a half (I think). The experiences were so great some of the details get confused😂😂
I’ve never seen scenery like these glaciers. The Majorie glacier kindly cave several times for us. We saw seals (babies too). We were blessed with exquisite weather. Sunny and bright. We were cool from icy glaciers but my granddaughter swam during this part of the cruise. Wonderful experience.
Ketchikan is a neat, neat town. Very picturesque. I enjoyed the views, creek street very quaint. Jewelry shop personnel were more aggressive here but I did purchase some jewelry and again took advantage of free coupon items. I really enjoyed. Time there was fine.
My only complaint limited time here but we took a quick taxi to Butchart gardens. First there and the gardens were the most beautiful I have ever seen. Surpasses them all and I’ve visited the Biltmore gardens, Texas gardens. It was amazing. We flew through town as it was getting dark but enjoyed.
