Review summary

This was our first visit to Alaska and on Princess and both were amazing! The ship exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were wonderful and entertainment was top-notch. I’d do this trip/ship again in a heartbeat.

Embarkation

Very easy and organized embarkation. We arrived at the port at 10:45 and were through the whole process and ready to board by 10:55. I think we boarded by 11:10.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We were happy with the food everywhere. The drink service in the Piazza when there was entertainment playing was non-existent. Sat there for an hour (and so did everyone around us) and no one ever came by to take a drink order.

We arrived early and had a full day to explore Seattle. We visited the Space Needle, Chihuly Museum, Pike Place Market and took the ferry to Bainbridge Island.

We did the Bennett Scenic Journey thru Chilkoot Charters & Tours. Absolutely beautiful! Train up and bus back.

Disembarkation

A very smooth process. We used Seattle’s Port Valet to handle our checked bags, put them out the night before and didn’t worry about them until we claimed them when we got home.
