This was a great itinerary, the Scottish highland and Islands were extraordinary, the Isle of Man was very eye opening and is a beautiful place and we loved Norway, even places we had been before we did other things. Our weather was exceptional for the time of year, completely smooth seas and the ship is beautiful. We loved spending time before and after in Amsterdam, the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum always on our list, but also walking the beautiful parks and hanging out is small jazz pubs as night. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. And the Rotterdam is a very beautiful, well run ship.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Tamarind, Nami and the pop up Morimoto were absolute hits. You can sit at the Tamarind bar and order off the menu for a quick drink and dinner. Dining room food was top notch.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We just like Bingo and hanging at the Ocean Bar, but there are dance and art classes, talks and lectures, Pickle Ball classes and tournaments, Morning Stretch and Tai Chi - something for everyone.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We don't do much in the evening but there were some very unique acts that we enjoyed, and song and dance many of the other nights.
Service and Staff

Best cabin attendants ever, loved the crew in the Ocean Bar and very good security and shore excursion folks. Servers in dining rooms and specialty excellent as well.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Beautiful Ship! lots of room for everyone and except for sea days around the pool, you can find a seat with a view almost anywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very front of the ship right under the bow camera, beautiful room, large and huge ocean view window. Very little ship motion, very quiet floor, and again, best cabin attendants ever!
Ship tip
Don't worry about booking higher floor rooms, they don't move much at all (amazing stabilizers) and are quiet. If you like to walk, floor 11 has great views and a walking track, I also walk the top decks to get stairs in and you get a lot of steps that way. Also, Ocean Bar is the best.
Isle of Lewis is incredibly beautiful and quiet, the Callinish Stones are shocking, like Stonehenge standing in a village field and people were hugging them. OMG
Had a fantastic tour with Nigel, better than our cruiseship could offer, and visited Peel, Tynwald and the old Manx Village Cregneash (complete with Manx Cat Joe). This is a special, spirited place. Not UK, much more viking and self governing. do. not. miss.
Took a steam train ride and enjoyed Betws-y- Coed, a beautiful Artists colony from the turn of the century in Snowdonia, with a stream, boardwalk, waterfall running through the middle and great little shops. Fell in love with this town.
Visited the most important castles in Ireland, which his not Blarney. Rock of Cashel and Cahir in Tipperary, and Cahir is the coolest little town. Beautiful scenery, we got deep into it and loved our guide Rosemary.
Not much to do here, visitied an amazing waterfall, dam area, and tourist stop with little museum showing the animals (stuffed) they have and a very long but good tourist film. I would just walk around the town, save your money
One of our favorite ports due to the Art Nouveau and just great for overall walking, we did a tour to Giske, home of the viking kings with their family church completely intact, and Godoy a neighboring island that is just beautiful and the views make you want to cry.
Didn't do the train this time, took the all electric zero emission people ferry (completely accessible) through the UNESCO Naeroyfjord to Gudvangan and then drove to Stalheim which is just jaw dropping.
Always love Bergen. Take the funicular up to the mountain viewtop, take the hop on and off to get around, the lake is lovely, the old Hanseatic town is great, lots of shops. Just a fun town.
Thanks for the review, especially regarding your cabin. We will be in 11002 in July. We loved our front view room on the Eurodam, and were hoping this would be the same as we haven’t found a picture on Halfacts.
