Plan on eating dinner at the buffet if you have a 10 plus hour tour. You may not want to shower and change clothes.

Book at least a veranda cabin to enjoy the views as you come near the port. If that is not feasible, be at the terrace cafe or the horizon bar for the beautiful views.

If interested in La Reserve dining, inquire on your first day as to which day (which only day) they may offer that option. The quality of their wines by the glass is far less than they charge for them. Next time we will bring our own wine and pay corkage fees. Seek out Cruise Director Ray Michaels

Make sure you wear a watch due to time changes that are not reflected on I-phone until land is reached.

The ship is in itself a destination. Therefore, don't overload yourself with excursions or you won't be able to enjoy the ship. I went on 3 half-day tours and 2 full-day tours on this 8-day cruise. I would have not gone on more excursions, and would not have felt deprived if I had gone on fewer.

Book your dinner reservations for specialty restaurants before you cruise. Had no problem getting into the restaurants, just not always at our first choice of time. All food venues were excellent and the grand dining room was spacious and never had a problem getting in there. Service was excellen
