Enjoy dinner sitting on the deck of the Terrace Cafe during beautiful sail away from Montenegro!
BREAKFAST ON THE STERN TERRACE
Afternoon tea at 4pm has some great finger food!
Relax and enjoy --the staff will take good care of you
It's a wonderful ship with a great crew, stay away from PH 11062.
Penthouse Suite as a minimum. The experience is significantly upgraded.
Bring light cottons and not anything with spandex. Bring anti humidity hair spray or prepare to wear hair back. Take advantage of walking the ports instead of all the excursions. Loads of fun.
Definitely book dinners early for the 4 specialty restaurants because they are outstanding and get booked up early.
Make specialty dining reservation online early.
All dining experiences are excellent. Enjoy your veranda as you are sailing in and out of each port.
Shows were a bit late 9:45 so plan your dinner accordingly.
Don't book any future cruises on Riviera nor on Oceania Lines. Quality of food and service has diminished since takeover. If you want this type of cruise, then book on Carnival or NCL. Will never take another Oceania Cruise again...this was supposed to be a 14 day dream cruise which turned into
On the MS Riviera eet interesting and friendly fellow cruisers. Expect the loveliest pampering of your life, 24/7 room service, lounging on a beautiful pool deck, boutique shops, spa and gym, library, computer room, culinary and other classes, never having to pack a suitcase until disembarkation.
Very little advantage to Concierge Level Veranda over standard Veranda. I recommend standard Veranda or upgrading to a Penthouse Suite. Room service is exceptional and I highly recommend, especially for breakfast.
Try the open seated dining. You meet the most interesting people.
Everything was great except for the wi-fi and no USB ports, be ready for being disconnected if you use your phone or laptop a lot a lot.
Eat at Le Reserve.
Bring your own snacks for the room if you like nuts, popcorn, pretzels, crackers, etc. Be prepared for a very slow Internet connection, when it's available, which is not all time.
Book early for the restaurants.
I don't know if it is just this particular sailing, but this ship is not for the under 55 crowd. I knew from the passenger profile, that it wasn't for the young, but was surprised to see how elderly most people were. No interesting on-board activities or entertainment.
