Wonderful Mediterranean cruise on the Riviera. Captain Flokos and his crew did an amazing job of ensuring that our expectations were exceeded! Thank you.
Embarkation

Boarded at noon, no line up, smooth process
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food and drink experience varied from excellent (mostly) to mediocre. Excellent food and service at at Toscana, very good food and service at Red Ginger, excellent at Pollo Grill and rushed at Jacques (don't understand why since we had an 8:00pm reservation). The main dining room was generally good however there were some misses and overall was average and not what we've been use to on Oceania. The service and food at Terrace Cafe was generally excellent for breakfast and lunch although would have liked to have the main dining room open for lunch.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Used the pool and gym and both were excellent. Since this cruise only had one sea day we were not onboard very often however the times we were there were plenty of loungers available. It was always kept clean with plenty of towels.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Went to horizons three times, two of which were Captain's functions, service was good and orchestra was excellent. Didn't go to any shows because days were long with excursions and by the time we finished supper we were exhausted.
Children's Programs
No kids with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Waiters, dining room managers, bartenders, terrace cafe staff are all excellent. We didn't use our butler for anything more than restaurant reservations and coffee in the room and he was always available and accommodating without being intrusive. Wish I could say the same for our room Stewart who always managed to knock on our door right after we'd get back to the room for matters that she could have left a note outside; she could have been less intrusive, more discreet and invisible.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was always clean, public areas in great condition, stylish and elegant.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Stay away from this PH suite! It's located directly below the Terrace Cafe kitchen and the noise, thumping, banging, clanging you name it at 2:00am, 6:00am, and other times can drive you nuts. Wish we had known this before. We complained and the staff were gracious and addressed the problem, the noise subsided however went back up again. The concierges (2) who handled the complaint were outstanding in their ability to address the problem and follow up regularly with us. Otherwise room, bathroom and closet were comfortable.
Ship tip
It's a wonderful ship with a great crew, stay away from PH 11062.
Barcelona is a great city, walking off the ship at port, easy to navigate, great food, shopping and of course Antonio Gaudi's masterpieces within easy reach by foot, taxi or subway.
Didn't feel like we were in France in this port. Looked and felt more like a North African country. If ever in this port again would go to Marseille ,Provence, Bormes, St. Tropez or Cassis.
Took a private tour with Share a Shore Excursion to Cinquettere which was outstanding. Our driver went above & beyond the expected tour description. Would highly recommend this tour company.
Hired a private driver from the port into Rome, we were a group of five, excellent driver who took us to the Vatican, piazza Navona, lunch at Campo di Fiore, Treve fountains, Colosseum & Spanish steps. Wonderful excursion and great day in Rome.
Santorini is breathtakingly beautiful, one great view after another. Easily walkable path along the beautiful coast overlooking the Calderra. Had lunch at Remvi and would highly recommend for the view, food and service. Took the fenicular up, but coming down was another story. There were three ships in port and everybody was lined up to get down. Line up was long and under the hot sun, so decided to walk the steps down. We had to compete with the donkeys and get around their dunk and some of the steps are slippery, if you choose this way down be very careful!
Took a taxi tour around the city, passed by constitution square, went to Kolonaki, Lykavitos- beautiful views of Athens and headed to the airport. Greece is in an economic crisis, lots of abandoned shops, graffiti everywhere and we were told it's dangerous .
