Review summary

We almost decided not to cruise again with Oceania, after our disappointment last year with the quality of the food served. Instead of going into details about last year, I would like to report that the dining experience is greatly improved.  The quality of the meat, and its' preparation is greatly improved. The servers in all restaurants except for the Waves Grill, are better prepared and more knowledgeable.

It is showing a bit of wear and tear, but still very nice.

Ship tip

If interested in La Reserve dining, inquire on your first day as to which day (which only day) they may offer that option. The quality of their wines by the glass is far less than they charge for them. Next time we will bring our own wine and pay corkage fees. Seek out Cruise Director Ray Michaels

So easy to get to Rome from the train station for less than $18 American dollars

Sorrento, Italy Did not visit port

Instead of going to Pompeii, go to the museum in Naples to check out all that was looted during the excavations.
