Fabulous time with long term friends and new friends. Would recommend Oceana if you want a quieter more relaxing cruise. Definitely worth the extra cost. I'd avoid their shore excursions and book your own private ones--especially if there are 4 or more people traveling together.

It would have been best to arrive 3 days early in Rome to truly explore the city. Again add a few days at the end for the same reason.

ship was quiet most times. Very little activity. Relaxing. No problem getting chairs at pool. Some ports not really worth getting off ship

Oceania provides a lovely cruising experience on the Riviera however the boarding process in Lisbon was terrible. Lengthy lines and seemingly little organization until you got through security. The ship itself is well appointed with beautiful décor. The disappointment came from mediocre meals at the specialty restaurants. The lobster pad thai at Red Ginger was salty and overcooked. The prime rib at Jacque was a poor piece of meat. The Polo Club did have a tasty filet and sides. By far, the best of the restaurants. The Grand Dining room also offered a variety of options for meals and generally were good. The shore excursions provided by the local guides were outstanding as was the service on the ship.

Was an Oceania rookie. This is an excellent product. It is not all inclusive (drinks, etc...) but the specialty restaurants are included. If you are a party of 8 - 10, reserve Privee for a nominal cost and enjoy a phenomenal evening.

Nothing to complain about here. Such a relaxing 10 days, we weren’t ready to disembark. Food was excellent everywhere. One miss on a lamb dish but that was the only negative. Even the buffet was incredible. I’ve never been keen on ship entertainment and really feel like it should be done away with, but we went to three of the many shows and were VERY pleased. Ship didn’t feel crowded. Always able to get into spa, a spot at the pool or pool bar, and never a wait at the barista! By the way, do not miss the barista’s Iced Coffee Crema!

This was our first Oceania. We would rate it at the top of our experiences. We have already booked two more for 2019.

Thought the trip was fabulous. Food great. Wasn’t expecting much from entertainment so I ended up enjoying what we saw.

A very good experience, only criticism is that the free WiFi is accessible for one device only at any one time, so with 4 devices between us, had to keep logging on and off which was very irritating. The spa deck, available to suite and concierge passengers does not have deck hands to help move heavy sun beds, but is a very quiet and restful location.

We specifically chose this cruise because of a previous cruise on Oceania Sirena and the wonderful cuisine we experienced. This cruise was very much a disappointment, as far as the cuisine was concerned. I would not recommend the Riviera for their cuisine. The staff are excellent and the ship is a beautiful ship. Jacque Pepin would be appalled if he ever visited and tried eating the meals that were presented in the GDR.

Riviera is an absolutely stunning ship! Fantastic service, public rooms, and overall ship. Dining... WOW! Best food I’ve ever had at sea. Whether it’s room service, main lido buffet, dining room, or the specialty restaurants everything is absolutely delicious and made to order. 10/10

Very old crowd...CAPT lacked leadership and made the worst announcement’s that no one could hear or understand...bypassed two ports of call and did not replace one of the ports of call ...extra day at sea...

Sailed from Rome to Monte Carlo and it was 1st class all the way. From the food, service, cleanliness and excellent staff we were catered to each and every day. We will definitely be cruising with Oceania again. Trip of a lifetime!

This was a great vacation, we seen a lot and took a lot of tours that kept us very busy, the only week spot was the ships internet service, every thing else was more than we expected for this level of cruising .

Wonderful cruise! We signed up for another while onboard. Food was great. Always looked forward to dinner at a different and wonderful restaurant. My husband had a massage at the Spa which he said was wonderful. Didn't have a chance to try cooking classes, next time!

Wonderful Mediterranean cruise on the Riviera. Captain Flokos and his crew did an amazing job of ensuring that our expectations were exceeded! Thank you.

Sailed Rome to Venice then onto Athens on Riviera. Wonderful ship. Great food. Entertainment each night by ships entertainers plus plenty of external entertainers on alternate nights. Had a balcony suite, mid ship. Missed on two ports, Sorrento and Mykonos because of bad weather, both supposedly tender days. Enjoyed pool time instead as weather exceptional in this part of the world. Thoroughly recommend any Oceania ship. Mostly middle aged guests, kids not encouraged nor catered for.

Everything was made very simple by the cruise line and our travel agent. A wonderful and unforgettable experience! We were often frustrated by the Internet connection, occasionally desired some between meal snacks, and did not pay close enough attention to when the ship's boutiques were operational so we missed out on purchasing some clothing items that we wanted. They are closed while the ship is in port. Otherwise, everything about the cruise creates a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The room refrigerator was always well-stocked and there was always plenty of drinking water. Comfort and cleanliness are a priority for me and my expectations were exceeded.

Oceania is a healthy ship and it is meticulous. Their customer care and service, both before and during the cruise is unrivaled. The intensive port itinerary was exactly what we wanted. I will never forget this particular cruise. 

1.  We were very displeased with the concierge service.  The concierge was not helpful at all.  We felt that we paid for a service that was not really provided. 

2. We were also very disappointed with the quality of food and service available in the Grand Dining Room.  Breakfast and dinner service and food were the worst we have ever had on any cruise.  Would not choose Oceania again for that reason alone.  3.  The food and service in the specialty restaurants was much better but in my opinion, it fell short of spectacular and was not as advertised "the best cuisine at sea". 4.  Lastly, the cruise line failed to confirm a specialty restaurant reservation for the night requested to celebrate my birthday.  At 5PM on May 26, we returned to our state room and did not have a confirmation for the restaurant as we had requested on the first day of our cruise.  After calling the concierge and reservation desk, we were provided accommodations in one of the specialty restaurants, not the one I requested originally.  The restaurant was not prepared to acknowledge my birthday that evening and no special acknowledgement was made.  We notified the ship of my birthday on several occasions before we sailed and at least twice during the cruise.  5.  The ship has no customer service representative that is always available to resolve complaints and I fell that Oceania is a very inferior cruise line for that reason.
