Review summary

Oceania provides a lovely cruising experience on the Riviera however the boarding process in Lisbon was terrible. Lengthy lines and seemingly little organization until you got through security. The ship itself is well appointed with beautiful décor. The disappointment came from mediocre meals at the specialty restaurants. The lobster pad thai at Red Ginger was salty and overcooked. The prime rib at Jacque was a poor piece of meat. The Polo Club did have a tasty filet and sides. By far, the best of the restaurants. The Grand Dining room also offered a variety of options for meals and generally were good. The shore excursions provided by the local guides were outstanding as was the service on the ship.

Ship tip

The ship itself was beautiful with lovely decor and outstanding service. The food quality was lacking and we had mediocre meals especially at the specialty restaurants.

Thanks for review as we will be on Riviera in March going to western Caribbean. We were on 1st Oceania cruise this year on Regatta and felt same way about food. But thought we would give them another try.
