Review summary

I would do this cruise again and recommend it to others. The views and ports were simply amazing. The ship is older and does need some TLC and more entertainment needs added. Overall it's still close to 5.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation from Seward was simple and quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and drink were indescribably great!!!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There wasn't a tremendous amount of activities besides the rock climbing wall and mini golf. As a 50+ person the rock wall was not for me. Mini golf was crowded.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The entertainment that I did see was great but there wasn't enough choices. I saw a magician that was fabulous, a musical that was wonderful and a singer named Jack that was good. For a seven-day cruise I was expecting more shows.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I can not say enough about the waiters and room stewards that my family had. They were absolutely perfect. My room was left spotless. The waiters were super nice and informative.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
All of the areas were clean but there was a slight sewer smell aboard the ship. It wasn't horrible but was present in some areas. The ship was in need of a bit TLC. It needs painted and the wood needs varnished.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was comfortable and clean. The beds felt amazing.

Ship tip

There were not many children on board.
