This ship, bearing the name of a beloved queen presented us with 10 days of quiet old world charm and I would highly recommend a cruise to anywhere on Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth if you are looking for that much needed rest from a world gone mad.

Don't think just because Carnival owns the line that it will be tacky, this is a beautiful ship. It actually looks just what a cruise ship should look like (not a hotel). Cunard is traditional, so do take advantage of the oppurtunity to dress uop and even dance in the ball room. This is what cruising was meant to be (before they became amusement parks). Enjoy and endulge!.

Are you over 80? Then yes, this is the ship for you!! We chose QE because we are ballroom dancers and wanted to dance, but the dancefloor was monopolised by New Vogue dancers, and it's very hard to dance on a ship. So that was disappointing. The crowd were horror film old, really really old. If there had been a fire, we would have all died trying to get over the walkers.
