We had a comfortable balcony cabin. It was small but laid out well. My one complaint would be that there isn't a separate shampoo and conditioner in the shower. There's only a body/hair wash.

Ship tip

Make sure to take your shampoo and conditioner. And unpack your suitcases. If you store them under the bed, the room feels bigger.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

We loved Juneau! We took a shuttle ran by Juneau Tours to the Mendenhall Glacier. We walked to Nugget Falls. It was beautiful. The shuttle driver was great. Then we took the Mt Roberts Tram and hiked on the trail. That was beautiful. Make sure to go in the shops to get your free charms and things.

Victoria, British Columbia

Wish we had been there longer! Victoria is one of our favorite cities. We took the shuttle downtown for $15 Canadian. They take a credit card. We walked to the harbor area. Then, we walked to Fantan Alley. We had Beavertails at Beavertail. We definitely recommend them! There were helpful Canadians that stopped us to make sure we saw iconic spots in the city.

This is such a beautiful port! We walked around the Natural Historic Park, made a stop at St Michael's Cathedral, and climbed Baranof Castle Hill. The views from the hill were amazing.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

This was a port that was substituted for Skagway. We walked to Hoonah and had mini donuts. It would be nice if there were more shuttles back to Icy Strait Point from Hoonah. There appeared to only be one. And it took a while to get the shuttle back.
