Remember it's all about getting off the ship and enjoying Hawaii. There are better ships, but this one goes where you want it to go.

We only booked one excursion from the ship: The Director’s Cut. Very worthwhile. Other excursions were far too costly. Consider taking renting a car or booking excursions when you arrive. There are also free shuttles or Hop on Hop Off buses. Do your research beforehand.

This cruise is all about the itinerary and not the ship. If you are wanting water slides and wave riders and go karts this is not the cruise for you. I don’t know what the refit in April will bring but it certainly will be exciting.

Scheduling. Don't have an excursion every day, enjoy a day or so. Check ahead for evening events as to how they can fit in your schedule from your returned excursion as well as dinner.
