My objectives: 1) to see all the islands, 2) not have to check-in and out of hotels, 3) understand my food costs, 4) see whales. All of these were met.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The dining experiences were slow, but the service was good and the food was excellent. The buffet was okay. I blame the "people" for their me first, circling vulture, and free for all mentality.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The pools were to small to do laps. When underway the pools sloshed so much that you couldn't swim in them. The fitness center was very nice, the instructor was very helpful and courteous.
Big surprise was the game room, very nice, and also surprisingly utilized.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The best act was the comedian, but he had a bit of attitude in constantly checking to see how much longer he had to be on stage. Almost as if he couldn't wait to fulfill his contract and get off.
Children's Programs
No children on this trip.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Mark Flores was our cabin steward. Very attentive to my wife's asthma, allergy and sinus issues and supporting her need to keep things sterilized.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The decor was really notable from the wall murals in the stairwells, to the dining and event rooms. Very nicely appointed and well maintained.
Was surprised at the level in which the ship shuddered, rolled and rocked. Having been in the Navy, this made me wonder about the level of ballast or top heaviness of the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Generally speaking we thought it was great. It was a little hard to get suitcases around the bed, and move the furniture on the balcony.
Ship tip
Scheduling. Don't have an excursion every day, enjoy a day or so. Check ahead for evening events as to how they can fit in your schedule from your returned excursion as well as dinner.
Glad you enjoyed it and knew what to expect. Many complain about this ship and donβt understand this cruise is about the itinerary and not the latest and greatest ship.
