Review summary

First thing we notice was that the crowd on this sailing appeared to be more of a mature age group but that was okay. Unfortunately we had really bad weather during our cruise which also caused a lot of rocking which is why we’re going to have a do over. It rained about 5 out of the 7 days. My cousin had to meet us on day 2 because all the flights out of Pensacola were cancelled due to wind. The funny part is we was so worried about something happening on our end because we were leaving from NYC where it had snowed just a few days before (it was 65 degrees the day we left NYC). Even though we would have enjoyed it more if weather permitted we did enjoy our cruise. The do over is because it was my two cousins birthdays and a dream vacation for one.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was fine for me but the mixed up my cousins names (one of their flights was canceled) which caused a small issus.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the Skyline and Liberty dining rooms where we enjoyed our meals. For me I really appreciated the fact that they really paid attention to my food allergies. We also enjoyed Cadillac diner. Moses is fantastic, Love him! The Aloha Café was good, not much different than any other buffet.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not really alot of activities on this ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We did attend theLights, Camera, Music! show which was pretty good. Unfortunately we missed Vegas! The Show. Those were the only 2 shows.

Children's Programs

We were not traveling with any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff and service was so much better than the last time I was on this ship. Our room steward Haitai was great. As mentioned earlier Moses in Cadillac Diner was fantastic. Our waiters in the diner rooms were great as well. We have absolutely no complaints about the service or staff. PS, I also would give the customer service desk 5 stars.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean. I liked the fact that the fish on the rug let you know rather you was walking forward or toward the Aft.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Their was 3 of us staying in the large balcony. Our cabin was small (expected) but we were comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that the shower wasn't as small as on my last 2 cruises.

Ports of call

Honolulu, Oahu Did not visit port

Plane was delayed so did not get to visit this port.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

2 out of 5
We did the glass bottom boat and we should have saved that money for something else. The last time I did this excusion the bottom was glass this was boxes that you had to bend over to look down into while on a rocking boat. Not worth it!

Nawiliwili, Kauai

5 out of 5
We went to theKilohana Plantation for the Kalamaku Luau. We really enjoyed the food and the show AND we got lucky with the weather.

Cruise Napali Coast, Kauai
