Good way to visit 4 islands in a week by nusguy2001

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

We had a great time in Hawaii. Loved seeing all the islands. The ship was nice and felt less crowded than other cruises. Food was good everywhere on the ship. Staff was good but the bartenders were slow! POA is a good ay to see Hawaii quickly and efficiently.

Beautiful Hawaiian cruise by ths609

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

This is an excellent way to see all of the islands and learn their history. Great to have so many excursion options. Main issue is with the problem in having water to drink on board the ship.

AQmazing Hawaiian Cruise by terirps

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

I have been on several cruises, my first with Norwegian. This is the perfect way to see Hawaii. There is a lot to see, was your time wisely because the time passes very quickly. The excursions are expensive. The helicopter is worth the money, you will not regret it. The helicopter tour will ask you to wear dark clothing so you wont get a reflection off the windows in your pictures. If you wear shorts which you will make sure to place something over your legs. I wore dark clothing but you can see the reflection of my legs in several pictures. It was an amazing cruise.

Overall we enjoyed it a lot by kenandcarolande

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Overall we enjoyed it a lot, but there were things that could have been better. Its a great way to see the islands. If I had other choices for the dates we needed I would have preferred a different cruise line, but we definitely liked the 2 overnight stays for the 2 best islands. The disembarkation/transfer process did not leave us with a good impression to end our trip. I would say 3.75 stars is a more accurate overall rating.

Great Family Vacation by ambrunson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Busy cruise with a port every day. It is a great way to see each of the larger islands so you can determine which one to visit again. Or if you don’t think you will get there again, good way to hit all the major sites.

Definitely the way to see all of Hawaii by Cruiser5806277

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

I had been saving up for this, my 50th birthday cruise, for 10 years so, I splurged and got a suite for me, my Husband and my Niece. Worth every penny, and more. It will be hard to go back to a traditional state room after this.

Memories to last a lifetime. by framer1053

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

This was a trip that we will never forget. We enjoyed it with great friends and have a wonderful time. While the ship is not the largest or the most fabulous, it was still adequate and the staff and crew could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone that has never visited the Islands and also to those that have.

Wonderful way to see hawaii by dolllady

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

The ship is not fabulous but is adequate and the ports are really the trip. Ship ran on time every time and all scheduled events were on time. Food was abundant and well served. Cadillac diner was great for a fast meal. The tours were beyond what we expected always delightful and informative. Kauai and NaPali coast were our favorites. Highly recommend for getting to see a good portion of Hawaii without flying. We stayed a few days in Honolulu and a few days in Kona; highly recommend doing that to give a different perspective of the islands.

Best way to see Hawaii by BethGinTx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

This was not my favorite ship (out of 20 cruises) but I booked this cruise for the itinerary. Seeing the main four islands and not having to pack/unpack was such a benefit of this trip. The excursions offered were very good, even though expensive. Definitely recommend.

Educational vacation by racheloki810

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

This was the second time we've taken this cruise, enjoyed the excursions much more than first trip. Great guides in Wailuku and Hilo. I was born and raised here but our guides shared facts that I didn't know. What an educational trip!

Hawaiian Cruise by cmcneel

Overall the cruise was amazing. The best way to see Hawaii for the first time. I ate too much but I don't blame the cruise line for that.

Not worth the cost. by ckong170

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Not worth the cost. The food is the worst of all cruises I have been on. They are able to over charge for this cruise because Norwegian is the only cruise line does this kind of island hop. It is cheaper to island hop on your own.

Amazing cruise! by cmclean7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

After reading so many bad reviews we were worried. It could not have been a better cruise. I have taken 10 cruises with Carnival and 1 with Royal Caribbean. This was not my first cruise! The ship is smaller than some which makes it a better experience. No crowds. Every staff person we met was friendly. We talked to the restaurant manager to express our

Proceed with Caution by Adelaidamaid

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Probably the worst cruise I've been on. I was warned with previous reviews so I knew to just treat it like a floating hotel. We had a few issues ( over booking a restaurant, plastic in ice cream, no room cleaned one day) but the staff bent over backwards to try and fix things. They did not stop in Kona which was disappointing as we were not told until it was too late to cancel rentals or change plans in Hilo. It was by far the most expensive cruise we have been on. The food is cafeteria quality for the most part. You are going for the islands and it's an easy way to see them without wasting time at airports and unpacking every few days.

Best Way to See Hawaii! by fo777

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Pride of America / Destination: Hawaii

Simply the best way to see Hawaii! Overnights in Maui and Kauai and stops on both sides of Hawaii - more than enough time to tour these three islands. Arrive a day early or stay an extra day and tour Oahu.
