Review summary

Simply the best way to see Hawaii! Overnights in Maui and Kauai and stops on both sides of Hawaii - more than enough time to tour these three islands. Arrive a day early or stay an extra day and tour Oahu.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Incredibly slow service in all dining rooms except "East Meets West". We sat for 30 minutes before being served our appetizer most nights, even though the dining rooms weren't crowded.

Ship tip

This is an itinerary cruise - the ship itself is not important. What is is the transportation and overnight accommodations that the ship provides that allow you to see as much of the major islands of Hawaii in just a week.

Hilo, Hawaii

Pahoehoe blocks several roads south of Hilo. No lava flowing when we were there. Turtles at beach/lagoon close to where the ship docks.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii Did not visit port

Itinerary changed due to a mechanical issue.

Nawiliwili, Kauai

Waimea Canyon is spectacular!

Cruise Napali Coast, Kauai

We were fortunate to have a balcony on the port side of the ship when we cruised the Napali Coast. The close-up viewing was "to die for"!
