Overall the cruise was amazing. The best way to see Hawaii for the first time. I ate too much but I don't blame the cruise line for that.
Embarkation

The checkin was very smooth and well organized.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining room food was awesome. We ate once at a specialty restaurant, East Meets West, but we liked the main dining room food better so we didn't try to eat at any of the other specialty restaurants.
Onboard Activities

I loved the fitness center although the carnival cruise line has a better one. We loved the ping pong tables (which carnival cruise did NOT have). I liked all the jacuzzies even though we didn't actually use them.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were well produced. I think the music choices were a little off. For example the Divas3 show was supposed to honor divas but the first part included old female groups, not divas. One of the diva singers left the stage when country music was playing. I think that was supposed to be funny but it was not executed well. We absolutely loved the magician and the comedian.
Service and Staff

Everyone on the staff from the performers to the dining room staff to the room stewards were wonderful. We loved the towels folded like animals.
Ship Quality

We loved the layout of the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was great except that the two double beds were not fastened together. More than once we had to push the two beds together since they were sliding apart. It seems like it would be fairly easy to tie them together in some way.
We had two days there. Day one was an excursion which was nice. Day two we were going to go to the Ka‘ahumanu Center but I read some recent news about a murder and several violent attacks on customers. The cruise line should look into this and make sure it is safe for passengers to go there on their own.
Wonderful time. Did the Luau day one. I have to say the cruise line has some work to do to get people back to the ship sooner after the show is over. It felt like a money issue. Either you don't want to spend the money on more busses going back or you are trying to pack too many people into the show. Either way the show suffered because of this. Day two we did the helicopter tour which was excellent. There was a problem with the microphone that interrupted the music that was played but everything else about the tour was amazing.
