Not extremely kid friendly overall as there wasn't a ton of things for them to do it seemed based on conversations with others. Walk the ship on the first day to get the lay of the land. Research your room location since there are several that end up being so nosy in the evening with shows and such.

Check in 2 weeks before, book your dining ahead of time and if you care for the entertainment you can do it when you arrive. There are electronic boards next to the elevators that you can use and explore.

This is HUGE. Most of your flights will be around 5pm. They kick you off the ship first thing in the morning. There are busses parked outside and for 45 dollars a person they will give you a tour of San Juan. Drop you off at points of interest and he will stay with the bus so your luggage is safe. Best $200 we spent.

Check out the dining options in detail prior to boarding...especially the Specialty Dining where you need to make reservations immediately upon arrival at the ship. They will all be sold out.

Do not listen to negative reviews. It takes a day to get use to layout. The food is amazing. If your drink is not strong enough tell them. Paying a little extra for some fun activities is worth it. I was on Prima and Viva. If you can’t enjoy yourself and everything they have to offer….you cannot be pleased in my opinion.
