Review summary

I enjoyed my time. It was pretty decent. The Casino host during my voyage leaves a lot to be desired.

Embarkation

This was the quickest I have ever gotten on a ship. Got to the port at 11:00am. On the ship at 11:15… drink in hand. Absolutely the start of what was sure to be a GREAT vacation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was awesome. There wasn’t really anything that I didn’t find fantastic. The seafood specialty dinning was my favorite. The steak house was on point.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
They put some of the shows and activities in the most impractical places. The art auction in a tiny room with no where to sit. A game show in a small lounge with absolutely no seating. The few that managed to get a seat continuously demanded we part the Red Sea so they could get a view from her seat. I am telling you it was shoulder to shoulder of people standing. Craziness.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Icons was a pretty amazing show. Beetlejuice I’m sorry to say only went on one time. During rehearsal the main cast member broke their leg. I pray they recover soon. Press your luck was really fun to watch. I kinda wish I had been selected.

Ship tip

This is HUGE. Most of your flights will be around 5pm. They kick you off the ship first thing in the morning. There are busses parked outside and for 45 dollars a person they will give you a tour of San Juan. Drop you off at points of interest and he will stay with the bus so your luggage is safe. Best $200 we spent.

We did the trolley ride that was offered for free by NCL. It was fascinating.
