Review summary

I loved being on a new ship with the new ship smell. Everything was great except the food in the dining rooms were lacking. Many bars to get a drink from, make sure to catch the shows at Syd Norman’s and enjoy a beautiful island every day.

Embarkation

I was amazed how fast we got on the ship. Upon arriving it took us fifteen minutes to board and having our first drink up by the pool. The quickest we ever got on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Breakfast and lunch buffets were awesome but I got to say the dinner meals were lacking. Main dining was surprisingly blah. I think Norwegian needs to get their dinners back in line with the rest of the meals.

Indulge Food Hall

5 out of 5

Loved the spare ribs and how fast they served you once you placed your order. Also, many different menus to order from.

The Commodore Room

4 out of 5

Meals were average but beautiful dining room.

Surfside Café & Grill

5 out of 5

Great food and choices.

Le Bistro

4 out of 5

Great variety and the better specialty meal of the two we had that week.

Hudson's

4 out of 5

Nice ambiance but meals were lacking.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were small and hot tubs crowded. Kids need to have their own pool area as they tend to be oblivious to the adults around them.

Main Pool

3 out of 5

Small and kids need to be in their own pool as they are oblivious to the adults around them.

Infinity Beach & Pool

3 out of 5

Infinity pools were cool but too small and crowded.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Theater was beautiful. Syd Norman’s was great but way too small.

Viva Theater & Club Bar

5 out of 5

Great place to catch a show.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Bars were an issue as they were crowded and hard to get a drink. Should have more waiters which would take the heat off the bars. Room steward was great and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship and very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very happy with the room and balcony. Bed was comfortable and didn’t have issues with noisy neighbors.

Ship tip

Get ready to enjoy a beautiful new ship.
