Review summary

I would highly recommend this cruise as it has no sea-days. It was a joy to be at a different port each day. Yes, you are extremely tired by the end of the cruise, but oh so thankful for the wonderful memories at each port.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a smooth process. We were able to make through embarkation and board the boat within 15 minutes, which includes walking and taking a welcome photo.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was delicious and appetizing. For the specialty restaurant, getting a reservation can be quite difficult. However, luck was in our favor and we had a chance to dine at Cagney's Steakhouse, which was amazing. We also dined at Hasuki, which was a teppanyaki style restaurant; food was okay. What we didn't like was that the times of the restaurants or buffets were not essential on port days. We were really hungry after coming back from an all-day excursion, only to find that the only food options available were hamburgers and hot dogs or bar food at the Local. If they could make the buffet times longer that would be helpful for a lot of families.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of activities for all ages. Thoroughly enjoyed the go-karts as well as the slides and activity room which included ping-pong, arcades, etc.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The Beetlejuice show was fantastic. However, NCL had to move our scheduled showtime which caused us to miss other shows/activities.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Cabin steward was very nice, waiters and servers were okay. Customer service such as excursions or purser's desk was DEPLORABLE. The staff was not kind at all and had attitudes, both the men and women. Each time, I had to call for a manager to get issues resolved because they were incompetent and lacking customer service skills.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We did have to ask out cabin steward to clean again when we first arrived. Small stains that were left on the balcony chairs (yuck). Our cabin steward was very attentive and nice. He did clean it without a problem or hassle.

Ship tip

Have a great time and be open-minded.

Busy itinerary. I like about 1/2 sea days to port.

I agree we are port people too. The best cruise is 0 to 1 sea days. So glad you had fun!
