I was very disappointed in the iConcierge service/app (communicating with other passengers). It cost $9.99 and worked so sporadically it wasn't worth it! And there was no way to explore Dubrovnik without PAYING to get somewhere. If you're going to port away from a town center you should INCLUDE a shuttle to the town. Instead Norwegian charged $15 per person or you could pay for your own cab. But it was way too far away to walk to anything. Very disappointing! The "Ultimate" beverage package did not include coffee shops or water. Are you kidding me?

Great cruise overall. All port calls were very busy and congested with heavy traffic and a lot of tourists. The crowds were manageable but it created lost time in sightseeing.

It’s like a Holiday Inn & TGIFriday’s meets cruise ship. If you go with those expectations, you will not be disappointed. The ship is older and cabin bathrooms need an update. Most notably the food/menu needs a complete makeover! Recommend this cruise in Sept-October.

Disembarkation was terrible. NCL staff said they hadn't docked at that terminal before. We were in lines with only one elevator. Ship was nice & clean and staff were great.

Being able to visit three countries and 6 different places in the Adriatic Sea for 8 days was a wonderful experience

Norwegian wants to nickel and dime everything. Food was awful. Hospitality was zero! Most ports were tinder and it was a two to three hour ordeal to leave the ship. Each post was almost 4 hours, by the time you got off and had to wait in line to get on the ship again. We had a private photographer booked for our 15year wedding anniversary, and they would not allow us to leave slightly early to make our appointment for Santorini. We ended up missing our appointment, no one from management cared. There were no feminine hygiene products that were available in case of an emergency!

This trip was my fortieth birthday treat and Norwegian made it exceptional. We had a lovely time and have been recommending it to all of our friends.

Service desk staff- needed more training, offered wrong info and seemed overwhelmed. Spa- Cancelled my appointment 3x, two for no reason and 1 because a pipe burst. Luggage damaged at embarkation port internet- I paid for was useless and staff was rude. By the time it logged on it ate up most of your minutes.

My sister and I enjoyed this transatlantic cruise immensely. We especially liked the layout of the Star, and the friendliness of the guests and staff. The shows were excellent, and we really enjoyed the Melodious Trio from the Philippines who played mostly in the Grand Atrium. Also we liked dining in the beautiful and elegant Versailles dining room. Finally, we thoroughly enjoyed always being able to find a table on the Lido deck because we spent a lot of time there during the day eating breakfast and/or lunch or just hanging out.

We have learned to check and see how recently a ship has been refurbished prior to booking.

This was a OK cruise, would not recommend it to others. Just too may delays, change of venue, just not smooth running cruise.

Poor to the extent it got all turned around and confusing...ruined it for us

Our cruise on the Norwegian star was really unique. The accommodations themselves were a little dated and looking like they needed a refresh, but this was back in 2018 so it’s possible that that’s happened since then. The onboard dining was absolutely exquisite, one of the best culinary experiences we’ve had at sea. The specialty restaurants were really outstanding, consisting of course after course of really delicious food. The ship itself had a ton of deck space for sunbathing, but pretty small pools with waterslides which attracted lots of kids. Great if you love kids but there didn’t seem to be anything between “kid area” and “total sunbathing silence”. We really liked our experience with Norwegian, but I haven’t felt compelled to rebook with them for some reason.

Terrible. Norwegian needs to hire a consultant to help them turn the Star experience around.

VERY POOR - CASINO machine does not work and Casino staff does not give a damn.

We were looking for a relaxing cruise and this fit our bill. We had the dining package and the beverage package. We really enjoyed the staff and the food. We would do the cruise again.

Great cruise weather was great people were friendly and excursions were great.

This was the best cruise we have ever been on!!!! We loved Norwegian Cruise lines!!! Super fun and energetic cruise director. Lots of fun activities planned!! I would totally recommend this cruise to anyone and I can't wait to do it again in a couple of years!!!! Norwegian is the best!!!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!!!!!
