Review summary

We were looking for a relaxing cruise and this fit our bill. We had the dining package and the beverage package. We really enjoyed the staff and the food. We would do the cruise again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No issues. Started boarding before noon.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the meals were very good. Ate at dining rooms, buffet and all speciality restaurants except for the Sushi and the La Cucina. A recommendation is to request to sit away from the bar in Moderno. The Sugarcane Bar was popular the night we ate their and it was distracting.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the knitting and stitches. Would have preferred having an area that was not subjected to presentations that were going on in Gatsby.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the Magic, juggling, acrobatic and comedian. Falicia was our favorite musician.

Children's Programs

We did not have any children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We liked the layout of the ship. The common areas were clean. The restrooms in the common areas needed maintenance as many of the toilets were out of order.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was great. I Wayan was a great Stewart. Size was as expected. We enjoyed the balcony.

Ship tip

Sign up for the specialty restaurants ahead of time or when you first board.

Ports of call

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the hike to the Lighthouse. The group was limited to 20. It is closed to the public at this time due to the construction of the path and the lighthouse. The only ones allowed were on the excursion. There is over 300 stairs on the path. The guide was great and kept the group together.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
We participated in the Arches (Lands End) and glass blowing tour. Wish it was a smaller group for the Arches to be on a smaller boat. The glass blowing portion was a shorter demonstration than expected. The last part of the tour was a complete waste of time. We were taken to a closed restaurant on the other side of the marina where we were given a beverage.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
The disembarkment was horrible. We ended up getting off the ship 1.5 hours after we were suppose too. It was very disorganized.
