Cruise was nice. The ship is a bit smaller than we have been on, and if you are counting on your entertainment being the ship then you might be disappointed. This cruise is about the ports, and we enjoyed all of them!!! We used the excursions, and they were great.
We had a great time!
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Very difficult to get into the port area. This part was frustrating, and I hope as the season goes forward it will get easier.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining is good. The specialty restaurants are hit or miss.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not as many activities on this ship. It is a very heavy port cruise, so you don't really miss it. We went to the pool quite a bit, and used the shuffle board and golf nets.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Not as great as some of their other ships. The acrobats were excellent.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Waiters in the main dining areas, room stewards and bartenders were excellent.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Older ship but it was well maintained and very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Not the fanciest of cabins, but it was very clean and spacious enough for the two of us. Our room steward was the nicest!!
Ship tip
Smaller ship, so don't expect the cruise to be about the ship rather enjoy the great ports.
The embarkment process was not well organized, but it was the first cruise of the season. Im sure in time they will figure it out. The town is very cute and we enjoyed walking to the beach.
We rode the cable car up the mountain, and then explored the beautiful city. We had a wonderful day just walking around. Then we walked down the mountain on the path. It only took 20 -30 minutes to walk down, although it was slippery.
We did the hop on hop off again, and it was perfect. We were there on a Sunday, so the traffic wasn't horrible, so the hop on hop off went pretty fast. We got to see so much that day and had a wonderful meal.
Another day of walking around, no excursion. It was beautiful!! I would have liked to take an excursion to the other side of the mountain, but the ship excursions were sold out. I heard it was breathtaking. We did have a great day just wondering around the white buildings.
What a suprise! This was a beautiful town, and had the most clear water. We went on a little train around the city which we just walked up to and bought tickets. The best part was seeing the turtles through the beautiful clear water. You don't really need to ride that little train, you can just walk down to the bridge to see the turtles then grab a bite to eat in the shopping square.
We went on the blue grotto cave tour. Absoulutely beautiful!!! Unfortunately we couldnt swim that day because of the strong currents. There were rough seas to go out to the spot, but it was worth it. Maybe it is not so rough on other days. We then came back to Old Town and ate lunch. Great day!
We went on the Game of Thrones tour. We really enjoyed it. This tour involved alot of walking up stairs, and I wouldn't advise it if you aren't very mobile. We had several people on our tour that could not even go on half of the walk because it was too steep. We had a great time learning all about the filming.
