We did the cruise started 24 June. Food was good, staff were marvellous, the ship is fine, no problem,. We had a great time, sure raffles buffet was a zoo, but name me a buffet that isn't. Overall it was a great way to sample the Mediterranean, enjoy

I heard Pisa is not all that exciting, may do something else. We are staying in Florence for 3 days before, so i have no clue yet on what we could do.

oh, and we did excursions with NCL for Pompeii and Athens. Didn't get off at Rome because we took a train from Venice to Rome for 4 days after the cruise. Went to Pisa on our own from Livorno easily by train. Other ports were easily walkable and we didn't do excursions in Toulon, Mykonos, Dubrovnik, or Kotor. Wear good walking shoes and climb the mountain/fortress in Kotor. The sights are amazing! Went on a great walking tour/wine bar hop in Venice recommended by Rick Steves. Hope this helps!!

Don't be worried. We saw poor reviews, too, before our cruise in June and were pleasantly surprised. The cruise is what you make it. Look at it with new eyes when you get on board. These are only people's opinions, and many are picky....;-)
