The ship is retro-fitted from its previous use as a Hawaii cruise ship so much of the decor has a more Aloha feel than a Caribbean feel. The ship was clean and staffed very well. We felt the food offered for no additional charge was mediocre, not just at the buffet but in the restaurants as well. We did not eat at any of the restaurants that required an extra charge. We also felt the dining staff always seemed in a rush to get you in and get you out. For example, while finishing my entree, with fork in hand, the waiter showed me the desert menu right under my nose while another waiter took my dish away...I wasn't finished yet. I do think though that this was all in an attempt to keep everything running seamlessly...which it did. They did a great job of keeping things going and offering things to do on board. We really enjoyed the music and comedy options. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We also really enjoyed our room. We stayed in a balcony and felt that the bed and the space was very comfortable.

The ship was nice and the food was ok, but we (everyone on the ship) got charged a "service charge" of $12 per person per day. We were only told about this the day before we got back. The money was to be distributed to the workers on the ship even though they get and automatic 15-18% tip everytime youjbuy something.

Recently cruised on the Norwegian Sky to the Bahamas. I think I was most impressed with how relaxing the entire trip was. When we arrived at the air port, Cruise staff met us at the baggage claim, took our bags and wisked us away to the port. We were welcomed to the beautiful ship by the entire crew. Our bags were deliverd to our room, and we were free to begin our vacation. That night we met our room attendant who made sure we had everything we needed and greeted us every day by name! The food was pretty good, would have liked to have more options for room service. Tons to do on board! Bingo is fun, art auctions are great, all in all there are tons of ways to win things! The islands are beautiful. Atlantis is a bit over-priced. We had a balcony stateroom, TOTALLY WORTH IT! The view of the moon and stars at night in the middle of the ocean is breath-taking.

The ship was large enough and had a lot of options for entertainment. The service however was terrible on all respects. I had to wait for too long at dinner for food, I go no satisfaction for the one main issue that I had. Parts of the ship were not functioning properly. I will not sail Norwegian ever again.

We had a pleasant experience as first time cruisers. The food was mostly good and certainly abundant. Our inside cabin was clean and adequate for a reasonable price. Lots of service people and they were all very friendly. The ship, built in 1999, was in excellent condition and user friendly.

Its okay if you are going to just relax and don't want to be bothered.

The ship was very clean and well kept. Staff went above and beyond my expectations. The food was great- lots of choices and loved the freee-stlye dining. Only con: not able to visit the private island due to wind. Had to spend the day on the ship at sea, which on a 3 day cruise with only 2 ports- was very disappointing. NCL uses tenders to access their private islands- I didn't realize this when I booked. However, NCL did organize on board activities very quickly to compensate for spending the day at sea. It was a fun day at sea- but would have much rather spent the day on the beach.

First of all embarking on the ship was very easy, The ship was very clean , we had an inside cabin thought it was was just enough room and the food was good. Did not participate in the alternative restaurants because the food in the main dining rooms were just fine. No need to spend extra money. The drinks specials were great who could argue with two for one, especially martinis! The shows were very entertaining and there was enough to do on the ship, especially the night club, great DJ. We had 4 nights that were quite enjoyable and we would definately cruise this ship again. We have cruised with many other lines and I thought this ship was very pretty and the people very nice.

This was our first time to sail Norwegian Lines. We really enjoyed the entertainment. We took in the shows in the main theater each night. The performers were extremely talented and the program was high energy from start to finish. We made it a point of going to CAPT Cook's Bar for the paino player each evening, too. Both venues were excellent. We were cuaght off guard more than once by information that we had not been apprised of that could have potentially been costly or time consuming.

The ship was a little outdated. The staff on the ship was terrific and made you feel at home. I lilked that they offered hand sanitizing everywhere!!! But, the drinks were outrageous, the food was awful, and the restaurants offered the same food as the buffet. The bathrooms were so dirty and outdated that you never could feel clean. You were only given two small towels so you really had to be clever with your shower situation.

I would like to be short in my description by saying that we had a most unforgottable and sweet memory of our first cruise on the Norwegian sky and would without any doubt recommend thiso all whether with kids or singul

A weekend to remember! Simply fantastic, really. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed every single moment during this beautiful cruise to the Bahamas. Really looking forward to do another cruise as soon as possible. Thank you Norwegian Cruise Line for making our time there unforgettable!

our room and service was great. food was good and entertainment also. I reallly like the smaller ship. it was so easy to get around., the staff was very friendly and helpfull.

The ship was very big, looks alot better than the photos online. The room was very spacious, beds very comfortable. The staff was frindly for the most part, some of the staff would complain that its time for them to get off of work and they would not have time to clean your room. The kitchen would close while your eating in the dinning hall, and any request for additional food would be denyed. The buffet would serve the same food every day.

I was very disappointed when the ship set sail. The ship is beautiful from the outside and the greeting staff was friendly and helpful. However, after walking around the ship it was very old and date compared to other cruiselines I have traveled on.

Our overall impression is they are well below par. At first we really liked the ship until we found out they had no private babysitting, their customer service or floor managers did not speak very good english so they did not understand what we were saying. The ship did not seem that up to date and it does rock very much.

We got at the port and the welcoming at the ship put us right away into the vacation mode. We got the opportunity to unplug ourselves from the stress that we have at work and at home as soon we stepped into the ship. The Norwegian Sky staff was amazing, the attention, dedication and level of service that we got from them was really rewarding. In the ship there are so many things to do that there is not time to get bored. We enjoy the presentation at the stardust, the music and dancing at dazzel's and most important we really enjoy the food, when they say you eat when you want and where you want... they really mean it. The first stop was Nassau, Bahamas the island was beautiful. We had the opportunity to visit some of the most interesting place like Atlantic Resort. If you are looking for a wonderful getaway weekend or a very nice vacation, we recommend the Norwegian cruise line and we guarantee you that you will not regret it.
