I had the best time ever, the food was absolutly amazing so many choices to choose from, the ship had a great variety of entertainment, shows, comedy and very fun activities through out the day. Everyone on the ship was very friendly, and made sure you were having a great time.

I really enjoyed all aspects of the ship, from the library to check out books to the activities/shows onboard. It was amazing to see how they really pay attention to every detail to make sure that excursions and embarking/disembarking are as painless as possible.

We recently returned from sailing on the Pearl to the Caribbean and I was disappointed. I specifically booked with NCL after reading reviews and speaking with other cruisers who were pleased with their cruising experience. Upon arrival, my parents stateroom bathroom was dirty and the staff were rude as a whole. The appearance of the buffet did not have ice sculptures or was not decorated as nicely as other prior ships we have been on, nor was the food of the same quality. Unfortunately, we did not try Cagney's Steakhouse until the last night of the cruise because they had phenomenal food and I would have paid to eat there every night to avoid the general dinner area. The shows on the ship were comparable and the activities. It helped that I won 2000.00 on a pull tab ticket that they gave away at bingo though.

Unless you really want to try this cruise line, try other. Stateroom was really unclean. Even left few notices to steward without any improvement. In the end, we all got sick with sore throat, fever, etc. There were noticeable carpet dirty spots on room with a lot of dust in the corners (room 8115). All calls to "front desk" were unattended or phone even not attended. Overall this ship is average in my opinion. With the exception of main dining room, I had a better experience with the Carnival Valor on 2010 (just as a clue if you are undecided between these two ships). Of course, they will try to sell everything from pizza (which is free on a limited time at the buffet, afterwards and in room for $5/order) to overpriced drinks. I brought a soda case from home and it was "suspiciously delayed" by security personnel and sealed as "liquor" . After various requests to steward, it was delivered to room. Bring all the water and soda if you like, because it is pretty expensive onboard and dining rooms/buffet only offer free UNSWEETENED TEA and ICED WATER. No lemonade, no more. If you buy the soda card/cup, be prepared to receive refills out of 2 liter bottles not from fountain (so it is not necessarily fresh and sparkling).

We were so happy on the Sun last year that we anticipated loving everything about the Pearl. It was a big disappointment.

Cruised on the Norwegian Pearl from 12-11 to 12-18. Im 34, my gf is 27. We had a balcony. Service was amazing, staff was super friendly and willing to help, made the cruise much more enjoyable. Food was terrific, ate at the teppanyaki, lotus and mambos specity restaurants. We loved all the food. Room was nice, nice to sip coffee on the balcony in the morning. Bathroom was small, but they all are, so you deal with it. Would definately recommend this boat, especially the white party, alot of fun!!! The assistant Cruise Director Richard was hilarious, made the cruise alot more fun. The shows at nite were good, although for me, it was a little overkill with the Four Seasons musical tribute, but people in the age group for that time loved it. Sharkbait jugglers were awesome, must see.. and the comedian Kennedy ( I dont remember his 1st name) was funny.

average cruise the staff would not get out of your way in the halls u would have to move for them

The ship was beautiful inside. The staff was amazing. Our steward Barry was the best. The best rosemary chicken too. I did not wanna leave the ship. The only recommendation is the paint on the outside of boat could be improved.

This was my second time sailing on the Pearl and it was just as beautiful and accommodating as I remembered. BEAUTIFUL ship.

Cruised on Carnival many times before, and Norwegian was of higher quality overall. Worth the extra cost.

alot of the service crew had bad attitudes. waiters didnt give the attention they do on non freestyle cruises. the steward wasnt around and the room wasnt cleaned well. beach towels were never replenished.

This was a great cruise. The staff onboard were all professional and extremely friendly. There were a huge selection of dining options and, best of all, you can eat at just about any time you desire. There is no specific seating time for meals and no assigned tables. This is so much better!

The food was all very salty. The embarking and disembarking was poorly planned and took wayyyy too long. Some people missed their flights coming back. The smoking section was on Deck 7, the same as the exercise lap walk. Yuck. However, the crew was friendly, accomodating and cheerful. The ship was very clean.

This cruise is for older people. Activities were extremely limited and the cruise director did not do a good job of hyping up and publicizing events. Events were lack luster and every ends at around midnight. If you are a night owl, this cruise is not for you. However, there were a few shows that were entertaining. The inclusive food is mediocre and it was a nuisance trying to cruise "freestyle" like the company promotes when dining in each area is limited to certain hours. The food that is inclusive did not taste good. Some of it was good like the salmon but all else was blah. Don't try anything fried but it never comes out crispy. Just soggy. However, although not inclusive, the restaurant Le Bistro is good. Some of the servers were rude and made dining unpleasant. Overall, I'm not ever going to cruise here again. The princess cruises are much better. Heck, I'd even try carnival cruise next time. At least I hear they low how to party.

Nicely designed and good quality accomodation & facilities. Neat, clean & safe.

We were so disappointed, the kids' crew was lousy, my kids begged us to get them out of there, all they did was watch movies on television, they didn't announce which night was lobster night, the desserts were terrible, the room did not hold 4 people and was not laid out as advertised, I had to sleep on a rollout cot for 7 days, the port shopping consultant was rude, she assumed we didn't have money, the entertainment was lousy, I've heard better singers at the local karaoke bar.

We loved the Norwegian Pearl cruise, the ship was great and service was superb. I would recommend this cruise to anyone.
