Ok, but I wouldn't recommend it

Sail Date: October 30, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Room Type: Oceanview

The food was all very salty. The embarking and disembarking was poorly planned and took wayyyy too long. Some people missed their flights coming back. The smoking section was on Deck 7, the same as the exercise lap walk. Yuck.
However, the crew was friendly, accomodating and cheerful. The ship was very clean.

Pros: Fitness room

Cons: lumpy bed, smoking on the walking/exercise deck

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.

Food and Dining
Ambience was ok, but all the food was too salty. My eyes were swollen the entire time.
Cabin / Stateroom
They make the most of the small space. It was clean, the linens were good, but the bed made my back hurt.
Service and Staff
No complaints. All very nice and good natured.
Cozumel, Mexico
It has lost its charm since the cruise ships took over. But, if you walk in a block or two it is old time Mexico.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
The locals are all over you and very uncomfortable to be around. They glom onto you and don't let go. The beaches cost to go on and they are unremarkable. I will not go back.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We loved the seven mile beach. No need for an excursion. Also, Margaritaville was lots of fun, albient very alcoholic and pricey.
