Review summary

Ship is very tired and needs a complete remodel. For such a long cruise the foods choices on the buffet got boring very quickly. The NFL excursions overall were frustrating. A few of our trips were cut short. Bus without air conditioning on a very hot humid day. We paid a hefty price for my husband's fishing excursion and he didn't get to fish and they cut the day short. Did not like having dogs on board. I paid a high price for your Wi-Fi and it didn't work at times and the other times it was so slow it would use up all your minutes. I loved my Royal Caribbean cruise and ship. The Pearl and experience of this cruise has myself and friends not sailing with NFL again, sorry.

The Pearl was a great ship! I only ate at the buffet twice. The Summer Palace dining room and the specialty restaurants were great - loved the food. Crew and staff were great. Would definitely sail on this ship again!

I went on the pearl last year and it was amazing! People just try to find something to complain about. It had a new renovation recently and it is very nice . Service was impeccable and I've been on quite a few cruises - Norwegian is hands down the best

Going next week. Sure hope the saying holds true that the satisfied people don’t leave reviews lol. Well whatever happens with the ship my primary goal is to see the scenery in Alaska so I’m positive I will like it!

My understanding is that there was a full renovation on that ship in 2017. Is the ship in that bad of shape? We’re going to be on that ship in July to Alaska. My belief was that the food was good as well. Hmmmm.

Carebear. Cruised the Pearl last nov. I can't say that it was perfect but still had a vlast. The ship is older but the venues were up to date and the cabins were nice. Entertainment staff was great. Shows were good. Food was fine. Deck service was wanting. I was made aware that the wait staff were at the end of their contract. This probably had something to do with the service. Things should be good for you

Went on the pearl last summer in Alaska. After being on the allure of the seas with royal carribean the year prior. Nothing can compare to royal carribean. It took us two days on board the pearl to figure out that there was a whole other section of the Buffett, but even then the food wasn't very good. The cruise director at the time was jasper and he was awesome. They did have alot of good trivia and we liked there rewards system for participating in trivia and other on board activities. The setup of the ship was annoying and difficult to navigate. Definately agree with you in regards to the ship needing a remodel. I had also had lots of issues with the chat app. Most of the time it never worked and the internet person wasn't very helpful. We are sticking with royal carribean from now on. Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise and had such a bad experience with your excursions. They should definately be offering you some type of compensation for not even being able to go fishing and not having an air conditioning vehicle like you were supposed to.

I went on that cruise 10 years ago; didn’t like it then either. The ship and staff need an overhaul. You may have better luck.
