Overall the cruise was great. Because I could spend 2.5 days off the ship and not have to deal with the crowds and understaffed bars and restaurants.

Except for bad experience at "Q" fantastic trip. Spoke with management and observed that restaurant was being monitored.

End to end: fun and relaxing. Beautiful ship and port. Doesn’t get better than that.

4th cruise, 3rd different ship. Not my favorite ship and unless it's on an itinerary we really want I'd probably not want.to go on this particular ship again. The only thing I loved that was different Than other ships was the observation deck. It was fantastic.

Our first time on ncl Joy. Overall it was a great ship and we had a great time.

The Joy is a well laid out floor plan. Food and service has been great. The Vibe pass is nice to get if you can.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable cruise with great food and entertainment and wonderful staff. However, embarkation was a bit frustrating, and the ship was absolutely packed, so patience with elevators and crowds was required.

This turned out to be an amazing cruise vacation. Unlike most of my other cruises, this one was kind of last minute, so I came in with an open mind & flexible expectations, although it's always been a great time in Bermuda!! I had a great cruise! Beautiful Bermuda never disappoints.

We’ve been cruising NCL for almost 20 years, but this was our first “big ship” and it’s just not for me. Wayyyyy too many people (4600). Splash academy was the biggest letdown, it really just hasn’t come back to how it was pre-shut down and it has me seriously looking at other lines whereas before I never strayed from NCL. The joy is huge but so much wasted space, so many dead ends. Terrible layout flow throughout. Smoking areas are super awkward. Speedway was fun but entire process had hiccups and it should be cheaper or allow us to buy tickets for specific times-and maybe a combo pack discount. Food was disappointing-somehow way less variety than the smaller ships which just doesn’t make sense. No grilled chicken to be found, what the heck? Staff works hard but they’re setup for failure from the top unfortunately. Room was amazing. Loved the waterfront. Might have to stray to another cruise line. With 3 kids, we need water slides or more activities for kids that the smaller ships just don’t have, but these huge ships just aren’t going to work for me with so many people and terrible flow.

Everything about the cruise was amazing. The ship and cabin was very clean. The staff were very accommodating. The food and drink was amazing.

The cruise started great. Embarkation, staff, the Heaven all great. Bermuda is nice. The island is one of those places that you will say wow is fantastic or other people would say is ok. It all depends of yours likes or dislikes. Now, this is my first experience with NCL, BUT not my first rodeo cruising. I had the worst experience today at the casino. But just let me say first that all the dealers and floor staff are just great, friendly, funny and just a delight to play while they are working. The controversy that has me thinking of canceling next year 11 days Mediterranean cruise on the Breakaway, is that I played a lot and I bid high. Well I also buy funds in my Key Card... I buy 1000.. I played, if I win, I can go to the guest services and credit my account... done that over and over in Carnival as Part of the Players Club... well to make a long story short... I won some but I lost more... but in the mid time I went a few times and credit my account.. the bottom line is that as this morning I was over 1500.00 in the hole of my own money. Then I asked to buy some chips and they told me that I couldn't because my account was deactivated because I was buying chips and credit my account. That by itself is the most stupid things that I have heard in all my time cruising. Then I went to the host person and after a bunch of BS she said that I was up 585.00. Then somebody has to explain to me how I could be 585.00 when my cash money is down over 1600.00 just for casino expenses. I would like any of these genius to do that.

Enjoy yourself, don't compare to other ships or cruise lines, you chose this ship, so explore and enjoy it all. The Joy is a great ship, with great staff, some amazing foods and lot's to do for those who like to go go go ... but also lot's of different spaces to hang out in if you want a more quiet vibe.

NCL has been our go to for cruising our last few trips. We like that everything is included upfront and that the cruise itself seems to always go well.

Had a few hiccups but didn’t stop us from enjoying our vacation. Spa was disappointing but still used it.

If you have sailed on NCL Escape there is no comparison, the Escape has it figured out, their staff should train the Joy staff.

Overall a good experience and a nice vacation. We had beautiful weather and good port experiences.

We had great weather. Was Easter week but the ship never felt crowded. We would definitely sail on the Joy again.

It was okay but there are definitely better cruises out there.

Nice ship but recent cutback has lowered the overall quality of NCL

Ship is very nice and well laid out. Staff is very courteous and very friendly. Food is low quality and not very warm from buffet. This was a great cruise but really lacking in entertainment. Very disappointing with the last of entertainment. Only one main show on a seven day cruise. Not happy with the fact they canceled the Footloose show with no replacement.
