Had a few hiccups but didn’t stop us from enjoying our vacation. Spa was disappointing but still used it.

Dropped off luggage. Parked in NCL parking lot. Walked in straight to check in. Around noon. Was on the boat in half an hour.

Some hits and a couple of misses. Plenty of food available so never went hungry. We did 3 specialty restaurants. My favorite was the French restaurant. I got the Dover sole and it was the best meal I had on ship. Steakhouse is ok but would probably skip next time. Got a pizza at the Italian place. Not too bad considering Ncl just not great for pizza.

The newly designed spa, although beautiful, is a huge disappointment. The heated chairs were great and plenty available. Steam room, sauna, ice, and salt rooms great. They dropped the ball on the rest. Tiny hot tub that was out of service. No therapy pool. In its place they put showers that go from hot to cold. Supposed to be invigorating but I was cowering in the corner on some. So no real water to soak in. Love the encore spa. Not so much this one.

Ship tip
If you are a smoker, there is only one area in a plexiglass room to smoke. They removed smoking from spice h20. So casino smoking area is only other place. Not pleasant to have smoking next to kids pool either.
We booked an excursion outside of ncl. Went to a private resort for massages and then lay by pool. Quiet and peaceful. It was a dive resort so most of the guests were out diving. We had the place to ourselves. Great massage.

Thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed your cruise. Disappointing about the new thermal suite, we used the one on the Bliss and the thalassotherapy pool was by far the best part.
