Loved our cruise on Joy, our 13th with NCL and probably the best. The staff were fantastic, the shows were very good and the food was outstanding...I just wish fellow cruisers were more positive and not so negative always looking to moan. Love NCL and cant wait for cruise number 14...

Beautiful ship and great staff. It was not difficult to find available deck chairs.

Although there was some aggravating moments overall we had a great time and would recommend this cruise.

Despite the very rough beginning of our cruise with insanely incompetent handling at embarkation, the cruise turned out to be really quite nice. We were in the Haven for the first time and now we are totally spoiled. It is so nice to be able to get away from the masses; it was almost like being on our own little ship with just a few other people on board. The staff was wonderful.

Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, was a bit worried about the size of the ship but overall this ship is better organized than the Getaway and the crew are all happy which makes a big difference.

Overall had a wonderful time. If I had young children on this cruise it would have gotten expensive, quickly. Wish the food and weather were a little better, but what can you do.

Cruising on the Norwegian JOY, was a Joy given its size and passenger capability (over 3800). Going into the experience we were skeptical about constantly having to que-up for meals, entertainment and activities. This was not the case at all except for post cruise airport transfers. That was a cluster f$(*! There are issues with a ship of this size with harbor depths and bridge clearances. These can be mitigated with better planning at NCL corporate levels. The ship's captain, I am sure, is presented with a cruise schedule and is charged with safe passage of the ship, his crew and passangers. Bottom line: Bigger may not always be better when planning your cruise. Also when visiting shoreside activities, seriously consider ship sponsored tours because you're responsible for being aboard before the ship departs if you are touring on your own.

Too long, not enough variety in the complimentary restaurants no sauna, missed Costa Rica for Acapulco, not a fair trade.

Disappointed in NCL and will likely not return. Staff working hard to provide good service under a mis-managed organization .

Fun cruise with lots of things to do or none, if you prefer to disengage. Smooth sailing, efficiently designed for passenger usage.

All in all a wonderful cruise that we will remember for the rest of our lives. From the great ship, to the wonderful people we met both on the ship and in Alaska and the ever impressive service from the staff, it was something that I cannot recommend enough. NCL rocks!!!

Overall we liked this cruise very much. Too much time was spent on the ship though. Felt like all they wanted us to do was spend more money. Would have liked more time time at each stop. Would also liked to have known that the bar tenders do not recieve a share of the overall tip. Did not know this till the last day and felt bad about not tipping them.

Stunning! Can't wait to go back and on the NCL joy again!!! I would say, we were worried about our need for hiking boots and that was not necessary. Gym shoes with good socks was all we needed.

Great ship, great staff, great food. Alaska s a relaxing and beautiful destination to visit.

Our experience with Norwegian Joy was very good we felt it was money well spent we had an enjoyable time and its what you make of it yourself. Be organised and dont expect things to be done for you. Do your research so you know what to expect and be flexiable. The staff on the cruise were great throughout and worked their butts off. They should not be abused like some people did. We already booked our next cruise.

This was our first Norwegian cruise and overall a great cruise but the service and food was lacking compared to other cruise lines. We did really enjoy the Cagney's steak house. That was our best meal on the ship. The Galaxy Pavillion is a fun place with a lot of games and virtual reality experiences. I felt they didn't have a lot of activities on the itinerary compared to other cruise lines. Overall the ship was beautiful and we had a good time!
