All in all a wonderful cruise that we will remember for the rest of our lives. From the great ship, to the wonderful people we met both on the ship and in Alaska and the ever impressive service from the staff, it was something that I cannot recommend enough. NCL rocks!!!
Embarkation

Lots of people sitting around with no one to tell you what was going on! Only negative of the trip!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

We ate at 4 specialty restaurants. Ocean Blue was Outstanding...we had the Surf N Turf. Cagney s is also a must do! BBQ at Q’s just fell off the bone! Our Singing Chef in the Teppanyaki made the meal so much fun.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
So much to do...so little time! We watched Sunday NFL on the jumbo screen at the pool and had many adult beverages. They even had blankets to make us toasty warm. Also played the video games and Bingo....had lots of fun!
Entertainment

Elements was the best show and the magician was great. I am still wondering a week later how he made the girl disappear. Footloose was good too. Definitely make reservations and arrive early.
Children's Programs
Traveling with no children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I would give them ten stars if I could. My room steward kept our stateroom super clean at all times and was attentive to our every need. Waiters couldn’t have been nicer and more efficient. This is one of the reasons I put a deposit down for another NCL cruise. Can’t say enough about the professionalism of all the staff. Being called Madame all the time was really a nice feeling.
Ship Quality

The ship was super clean and everything sparkled. I liked the fact that restaurants and the casino was basically mid ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had our beds put together to make one oversized bed. This provided enough space for us and we slept like babies. The only drawback was that my partner and I are tall people and the bed was a little bit small lengthwise so our feet hungover. The cabin was immaculately clean and had enough drawer space do you live comfortably for the week. Definitely get a balcony cabin as we saw so much wildlife when cruising Glacier Bay.
Ship tip
Buy a cheap rain poncho from the 99 Cents store at home and pack it in your suitcase. The merchants at our port of cars were selling the same cheap rain poncho for five dollars each.
We visited the Mendenhall glacier, the fish hatchery and did an outdoor Salmon bake.
We saw a big black mama bear and her two twin cubs at the Mendenhall glacier which was probably the highlight of our trip. The scenery was simply breathtaking
Long walk to town so took the bus for $2.00....well worth it! Visited the red onion saloon and had an adult beverage. Quite fun. Then got on the train and saw some scenery that will forever live in our minds.....absolutely breathtaking
We went on the all you can eat crab feast and the lumberjack show. I wasn’t wild about having all you can eat crab at 8:30 in the morning but never less the crab was delicious and we stuffed ourselves. The lumberjack show was good and the crowd was really into it. The only thing I wished for at this port was more time to shop. By the time we finished our excursion it was time to run back to the ship.
