Overall, a great time! We enjoyed the Joy and would sail on her again. Try everything, there really is something for everyone!!

A nice cruise, would recommend a different time of the year as we were cold on the sea days and had to use blankets while sitting on the deck.

A wonderful 7 night cruise. We had great weather in January and the ship was very nice. Food was brilliant and the entertainment was really good.

Love NCL... but will not sail on the Joy or Encore again or out of San Pedro. East Coast cruises only when it comes to sailing out of the US.

Always wanted to do a NYE cruise and what not a better year than 2020! Being from California this cruise was practical for us as 1 hour flight in and 6 hour drive back to Northern California. Negatives, embarking was slow, and unorganized. Endless lines and took over an hour and half. Weather was cool, too cool for me to sunbathe, swim or use the fantastic water slides. Rained non stop in Mazatlan , sunny but not hot in Cabo , again too cold to snorkel for me. Weather was perfect in Pureto Vallarta! Most sea days were windy and cooler. Positives definitely out weigh any negatives. Beautiful brand new ship, amazing ocean view room biggest cruise room and bathroom I have ever had. Clean and comfortable, with big picture window. Easy to navigate, I never got lost on this ship and I have a bad sense of direction. Specialty dining is really good, Get it added on with room upgrades . Or purchase a plan , like eating at a Mortons or Ruth Cris . My boyfriend loved the cigar lounge and met buddies to smoke with . I do wish they had an R&B singer ,as music was mainly rock and pop. My last two cruises have been with NCL and will probably go back to Royal or Carnival for variety but only a newer ship.

Enjoyed the cruise with the family. Everyone had fun and no one got sick. Loved the casino set up. Segregated smokers in smaller casino that was enclosed. The rest of the casino, which was large, was all non-smoking. Bar tenders were friendly and fun. Staff is excellent.

We had a relaxing time, however we did learn that we enjoy more structured cruises with lots of options for things to do on the ship - shows, games, trivia, demonstrations, etc. I’m glad we went, but we’ll stick with RCCL or Disney in the future. Think of it like this: Say you have left some clothes just tossed Willy-nilly inside-out on your cabin floor. Norwegian will pick up the clothes and put them on the bed as-is. RCCL will pick them up, turn them right side out, fold them, and put them on the bed. Disney will pick up the clothes, turn them right side out, iron them, fold them, and place them carefully in the cabinet with a bouquet of flowers and a note of appreciation.

We had a wonderful Christmas on board the Joy! Great food, shows, drinks, service, entertainment and the ports are the best we have ever experienced! They are cities that the cruise ships visit not ports that are built for the cruise ships.

Great cruise to bad I was sick for most of it. Found out I like smaller ships more then the mega ships now on to the next cruise.

Creative dining outlets, including a Chinese noodle bar, and indian kitchen.Great experience. Casino has a smoking section so you don’t come out smelling like cigarettes, pool is too small. Staff is the best.Everything was perfect. The only thing I would change would be making the hot tub much hotter. The food was good and the ice cream was a daily hit.

Cruise went swell. Food was amazing and the activities on board were very fun. The room was modern and spacious. Well done

I really enjoyed myself. Embarkation and disembarkation was fast, our Stateroom and attendant were great, the food was good, (breakfast and Q were my favorites). I loved the Observation Lounge, where I spent a lot of time! I would definitely do this cruise again. I found that there were a lot of rude passengers on this cruise, but I kept my distance and enjoyed my trip.

First time going out of LAX. Very relaxing cruise. Plenty of room in our mini suite w Balcony.

Great cruise and great ship. We love the free style dining. Entertainment was very well done. Loved the bar staff in the Local. Only complaint was the World Series was not broadcasted.

We had a blast!! The food was delicious, the staff was great! The ports were nice, and we felt safe.

Relaxing, did what we wanted to . If we wanted to see a show at the atrium we did or just walked by. The same goes for all the other activities. Service all around was exceptional. Only down side was the medical bill I received after I got sick. I did take out insurance.

My spouse passed away on this Norwegian ship after 1 day on a 12 day cruise. Norwegian dumped me off the ship in a foreign country without any care. They refuse to refund any of the $4000 paid to them. Then they have a nerve to bill me over $7000 for medical services. This company has a bunch of scumbags in Miami running it. You can never get through when you call customer relations, you leave messages and someone may reply by email after you leave about 10. Most unprofessional cruise line ever, I wish i had researched them more beforehand. WILL NEVER SAIL WITH THIS HORRIBLE GREEDY COMPANY AGAIN. I hope they keep having problems and their stock plummets, and they go out of business, they deserve it how they treat people.
