This was my first and last time on NCL. You don't feel special on this boat. You feel like you are always being charged extra for everything. The haven class gets all the attention. They even have one elevator blocked off for them.

It was an enjoyable experience overall. My only disappointment was the cabin size, as it was advertised as a suite for a special price, it was anything but.

Overall, the 15 days went fairly quickly and it was a great cruise! It was relaxing and an enjoyable experience! The "dress up if you want" nights were literally "buried" in the newsletter. Hardly anyone dressed up beyond resort casual for the specialty restaurants and MDR.

Too many old people with electric skooters thinking they can speed and they run into you

Very much enjoyed this cruise and would do it again, possibly on another ship. It was fun to see the “new” canal and Panama City became one of our new favorite ports.also, the sea life was awesome!

A great ship with an amazing crew who were faultless in their service, ship never felt crowded. Itinerary changed from booking, but that didn’t impact on our experience significantly.

This was only our third Norwegian cruise and we are looking forward to taking another voyage on this ship. We have cruised over twenty years and truly enjoy a well run ship with a good food selection and a great staff.

The ship itself was good. The embarkation and disembarkation process is chaotic and disorganized. The Norwegian staff don't seem to know what they are doing when it comes to getting people on or off the ship. This happened every time we had to get on or off the ship. The tendering process was a mess. Even when we were able to walk off the ship in Puerta Vallarta, you had to take a shuttle to get to the port area and they didn't mark where or how to get the shuttle.

This could have beena great cruise but was very very crowded. embarkation and disembarkation ruined a lot good things about this cruise.

Lower your expectations and you will not be disappointed. We expected a better class of treatment.

Overall, Norwegian managed logistics HORRIBLY. This was our 20th cruise, but first with NCL. Never again would we ever go on this line!! *3 hour wait to get on ship *messed up our specialty dinner reservation to the steak house, and only 2 of our family were allowed to go. We were so disappointed as we got all dressed up for our family holiday dinner, and even ran back to the room to try to find our paperwork. We had to pay for 2 of us, if we wanted to, as they said it wasn't in their computer (though it was part of our package!) I left crying. We had our teenagers stay, and my husband and I went to the buffet in great disappointment. :( *nickle and diming you every minute (Warning: keep a close watch on your bill!! We had the liquor package and they charged us for sodas, they charged fees while you embarked because you were at a US port, fees for shows, fees for room service,...) It was the worst we'd ever seen! *had to wait 3 hours in line to get our internet package turned on that we ordered before the cruise) *constantly put Haven and those with frequent traveler status priority so we always waited for everything (tenders, getting off the boat at ports, etc.) We felt we were treated like 2nd class citizens since it was only our first time won Norwegian *2 ports were just shipping container ports, so nothing to see unless you paid for a taxi to go somewhere *anytime you had a question at the front desk, there was always a minimum of 20 people in line and you had to wait hours *they wouldn't let you settle your bill until the last day, when you had to run to catch your flight, so we just got stuck with fees we didn't dispute (It must be a strategy of theirs) *limited evening shows - only 2 they kept running night after night *you had to sign up for all shows in advance or they were booked, but still the same stuff repeating night after night *We were hoping to do the Ship Tour, which you were supposed to sign up for within the first 24 hours according to NCL's website. We REALLY wanted to do that. Unfortunately it was cancelled due to covid but even if it wasn't, it was for Haven guests only. *Debarkation was also a disaster. They had thousands of people walking across the parking lot while busses were coming in and out. It's not a wonder someone wasn't hit! Overall, we had a great family time, but Norwegian sure messed up all the logistics. Our cabin steward Nada was fantastic and we went on the most amazing excursion in Ensenada, the Desert Moon Ziplining adventure. That was truly 5 stars! All said, you've been warned about Norwegian!!

To summararize, we had a fantastic cruise on Nor Joy, the crew, our fellow passengers, the beautiful ship, the memories we made, both with others and each other, made this one of the more momentous cruises we've done, not the longest, but certainly keeping with the length of cruises we prefer after my (not her, yet) retirement. We're already wondering where our cruising preference will take us next? South Pacific perhaps? Australia's finally opening up post-covid, and it's on my bucket list......

We love NCL. We have two more cruises booked for 2023. The only issues we had with this sailing were logistical. The onboard crew was as amazing as ever. They always go above and beyond to deliver a wonderful, memorable experience for every guest. The Panama Canal Transit is definitely a do not miss experience!

The cruise was great the photo studio was a nightmare.

Terrific ship on the same basis of the NCL Getaway. I didn’t like how the staff managed the Speedway and the Aqua Racer.

Overall great time. Look forward to cruising the Joy again in March!

Overall a fantastic time. Especially because we went with the flow the whole cruise. Came in handy last day of sail especially when one of the engines stopped working. We just went up to Vibe and made the best of it until we were given info from the Captain.

While we had many problems on this cruise from not being able to go to Virginia to having to speed to Bermuda because of the two girls who had a medical emergency. My husband‘s leg injury. A few disappointing restaurants and the Rutter problem we still had a wonderful time and we do it all over again

After paying my bill before I left the ship Norwegian charged my credit card 2 more time never use a card always use cash
