Review summary

While we had many problems on this cruise from not being able to go to Virginia to having to speed to Bermuda because of the two girls who had a medical emergency. My husband‘s leg injury. A few disappointing restaurants and the Rutter problem we still had a wonderful time and we do it all over again

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We embarked out of New York City and it is always a madhouse

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food on the ship is good. We ate a lot in the Buffet. We had four specialty restaurants and we were disappointed with the Italian specialty dining room as it had no Parmesan but did have pizza and I would’ve been very mad if I had to pay another charge for pizza. Cagneys was wonderful as usual

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We spent a lot of time in the observation deck and also spice H2O. One little tip, they have a gorgeous huge hot tub but while the ship is moving so is the water in that hot tub and it is very hard to stay in your seat

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We did not get to see footloose because two of the dancers were sick and had to be rushed to Bermuda for medical help. The Beatles took over and did their performance from the theater which was wonderful. I don’t know how they could ever perform in the small venue when they filled the theater four times

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always the wait staff is wonderful

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Except for the rotor been broken on the last day in Bermuda and having trouble getting back home the ship was extremely clean and well-maintained. We were only two hours late getting back to New York City.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was located just two doors off the elevator in the center of the ship which is perfect because I get motion sick and my husband had a hurt leg so this made it very easy to get anywhere if we needed to go. The room was an average size balcony and very spacious and clean

Ship tip

Book your restaurants either before you get on the ship or immediately when you get on the ship because it’s very hard to get the time you might want

Ports of call

New York, New York
