Good cruise with lots to do, but also lots of crowds and activity around. If you want relaxing, hang out on the observation deck or in one of the small cozy areas of the ship. Having a balcony is a must. Room service is great to eat quietly and if you drink, get the pre-paid drink package. You can carry plates of food and drinks all over the ship. Also, there is an area just for adults which is nice for some wanting a kid-free area

Service was wonderful. The only issue with the staff is communication. Shower was way too small and the water pressure was atrocious. Beautiful ship. We could have left out Juneau and added another glacier stop or added Anchorage/Seward.

This is a must do cruise for everyone of all ages. The Alaska Inside Passage was everything we had heard it would be and more!

After reading some negative reviews, I want to start off by saying those people must be incredibly fussy. We had a family adventure of 10 people of varying ages and everyone had an absolutely incredible time. Everything went smoothly, from the flight there to the flight home. The views were just awesome, and we were lucky with sunshine every day we were in Alaska. We enjoyed the food -- the specialty restaurants were delicious and the buffet was just what we needed as a family with 2 small children who were happy to have choices and eat quickly. The staff were friendly, the ship was clean, and we enjoyed all of the activities we took part in.

Large ship required reservations for almost everything, not in line with our freestyle likes but overall a nice ship with a great itinerary. Saw lots of beautiful scenery and wild life. The service on the ship was top notch. I highly recommend this cruise to any and all who are interested in Alaska.

Better than most cruises. Very refreshing change from beach destination type cruises. Ship was beautiful and well laid out. Way more positives than negatives, Crew was also a step above average cruise ship crew.

Wanted to experience Alaska and left feeling dissatisfied. Surely a better itinerary could have been conjured up. Food on ship was not vacation worthy. Other lines try much harder. Cabin was good, friends on board, excellent staff efforts made it okay, though. But we are not encouraged to return to NCL.

Everything was perfect. The only thing I would change would be making the hot tub much hotter. The food was good and the ice cream was a daily hit.

Our trip was amazing. We saw 14 whales throughout the entire trip. We had a balcony room, which I really recommend for an Alaskan cruise. That is where we were able to see several of the whales. Norwegian charges for many of the extra activities that you want to do on the ship, such as the go-karts, the laser tag, painting classes, wine tastings, some of the game shows, etc. Their specialty restaurants are incredible, especially the seafood restaurant.

It was our first cruise, but we are going to do another one next year. The only complaint, the kids in the next door cabin were very loud with doors slamming day after day.

To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary we decided to take a cruise and bring our 3 daughters (15,13,8). We were all very excited, but that ended with the accumulation of fees to do anything on the ship.

We would not hesitate to take another Alaskan cruise, even if it was to the same ports.

Had booked smaller ship, 2000 people, Norwegian put ship in for rehab, was switched to Joy, 3800 people. Just too big, too many people, lines and noise.

Overall a good cruise but not very accommodating when you have unique needs/food restrictions.

The ship was great! Staff super friendly and attentive. Food was just fair.
