Overall, the cruise was up to our expectations, and we loved the longer duration of the cruise, 15 nights. With few children or teenagers on board, it would have been nice to open the American Diner to guests, within the meal package. It appeared that it was always empty, with few people dining there, as the prices were high and individual priced.

Onboard Activities

This cruise had very few children, thus the water slides, go carts, and race center, were pretty much empty, with no lines or reservations needed.
Entertainment

Musical, Foot Loose, was done well!
Children's Programs
No children in my party, and hardly none on the entire cruise.
Service and Staff

Service from the room steward was ok, but not excellent. Several times, the wrong sheet sizes were used on the bed, and towels were not adequately replaced each day. Had to always ask for towels. I believe the steward was new, and thus lacked the training. Was very pleasant though, and accommodating to our requests.

Missed the expansive interior layout and gallery found on other cruise lines, such as Royal Caribbean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable and clean. Windows and the glass panels on the balcony could be washed though. Room 8760 resides over/near the BBQ Pit, thus the music was very loud and vibrant within the walls of the room. This lasted till around 10 pm each night. We did get used to it.
Ship tip
Book or make dining reservations, well in advance, if you wish to dine at an early time.
Took a city excursion, followed by the cliff divers. Poor tour, and so many people and tour groups at the cliff divers, that one could not view them. I would not purchase this excursion again.
Excellent port and excursion or old capital and coffee plantation. Had plenty of time to visit the jade manufacturing shop, and to make purchases.
Enjoyed Guatemala as one of our favorite stops.
Took a city tour, and visited the canal museum. Amazing city of people, culture, and variety of things to see and do. Enjoyed the small coffee shops in side streets.
This was the main reason for the cruise, as this was on our bucket list to do. Amazing crossing and transit through the locks. Great narration for the whole day, arranged by Norwegian, from the observation deck 15.
