The Main dinning room was my favorite place. we had to wait a couple of times to be seated, but it was never very long of a wait.

The pools are always less crowded in the mornings on the day that we're in port. Also, the lines for dinner are always really long around 815, after the first evening show gets out.

Two walking tracts, deck 7 and deck 12. There are two full shows each night. It's easier to get a seat for 9:15 show. Check out music at Martini Bar. Excellent pianists. Check out All outdoors restaurant which is connected to the garden Cafe.

Outside Deck 7 is good short cut from one end of the ship to the other. Its also a peaceful place for reading. Azura's has better food and service than Tsars. Don't miss the nightly shows in the Stardust Theater. If your a drinker? Plan on paying $10 for each small cup.

Check out the viewing room in the forward area on deck 11, you can see the crew at work. The game room on deck 12 is a great place to play a board game or card game. Don't forget about Bingo, lots of fun.

Freestyle cruising really means "free range". The service and food in the dining rooms was obviously meant to push you to the pay as you go resturaunts. Then those were slow too. Splash Academy was outstanding though!

This year we traveled on the NCL Jewel. Although it was nice, the NCL Star was extraordinary and seemed to have a more personable staff, one who always seemed upbeat. Both were super; we will not hesitate to book with Norwegian for future cruises!

Could have had more for older teens as they seemed to be a little left out at times and the 3 on 3 basketball never happened which is what they loved. They did love watching the staff play soccer at night.

There is a free restaurant where you can order off of the menu (can't remember the name). We didn't find it until the end of the cruise.

The garden café on the very stern on the ship was great for breakfast. not crowed and outdoor seating. Course room service does not suck either!
