If they tell you the cruise ship gets just as close to Sawyer Glacier & wildlife as the excursion, don't believe it. Take the excursion - it'll take you place the cruise ship can't. Well worth it, too! Mustering exercise was useless.

You do win on the slot machines. My mom won $400 and I won $300 Make sure you are early to the cirque shows because the seats are taken quickly.

If you didn't want to have to struggle to find a seat for breakfast at the buffet then go really early or go to the dining rooms.

Don't use room service, go to the Garden Cafe' and take dessert back to your cabin with you.

When they advertise FREESTYLE, they aren't lying, everything on the ship is open to your schedule so no pressure to eat when you are told, no pressure to dress up to go to dinner in the dining rooms and all do not disturb signs are taken very seriously. IT ROCKS.

You can take your breakfast buffet to La Cocina to eat in peace and quiet and not wait for a table. The casino is not player friendly.

The Garden Room buffet on the lido deck is often crowded at breakfast and lunch with seats hard to come by. However, a fewer more steps aft is the Great Outdoors seating area on the rear of the ship. Great views and we always found a table.

Next trip we will skip most the specialty dining, but will make sure to book the Hibachi Dining, which was very entertaining.
