Go to Antartica on the Star...most amazing place you will ever visit on the Earth!!!! Alaska is nice to see but you will be blown away with the scenery of Paradise Bay Cruising. 23hrs of daylight too. No rain, no tides usually clear and sunny. You can see twice as far in Antartica it is told than on the mainland. Its dry air there, cool and no snow!!! just ice and icebergs floating both big and small. its magical folks.
Thanks for your review. Alaska weather usually involves some cold and rain. Lucky to get sunny weather in Alaska. We had a mix too. Going back in a week to see what we missed end of May-salmon, bears, etc. Packing rain poncho and shoe covers
Glad you enjoyed your cruise despite the weather. We’ve gone early May 3 times. Weather was awesome for 2 of them, warm and sunny…and ok for the 3rd…cooler and cloudy. Rained only one day.
