Review summary

This cruise on the Jewel was to celebrate our 50th anniversary. It was an awesome celebration! The length of the cruise was perfect. The ports (especially cruising Glacier Bay) were all unique and enjoyable. The on-board entertainment was varied and excellent. We also felt that we received great value from the drink package we purchased. Our room steward and the dining staff were all very personable and attentive. Great cruise!

The food was plentiful with lots of good choices. We've had better over-all quality on other cruises, but we do have to give a shout-out to the buffet desserts. They were EXCELLENT!

Our inside cabin was adequate and comfortable. Our particular room was different from our friends in that our closet space was located directly across from the bathroom, with doors opening into each other and significantly cramping the entry-hallway.
