The stall is always friendly and genuinely happy. The best run ship on the seas!

Try to bid for a haven suite, make sure you have something for nausea since the size of the ship is not big enough to not feel the waves which caused a lot of rocking and shaking of the ship.

Bring things from home to do on sea days! My husband read 4 whole books! Be aware of the fact that the ship is going to constantly try to get you to spend more money!

Don't sail on the Jade it you have ever been on one of the NCL bigger ship. We have been on the Escape and Getaway and that spoiled us.
Pleasantier
Brace yourself for the non-stop cajoling for money, which is off-putting (art auctions, ship's store sales, future cruises, shore excursions, spa treatments, hypnotist). Other than this, prepare to have a great time.

Our cruise was the last sailing to Canada so it was a little cold and windy to spend a lot of time outside but the Spinnaker lounge was a nice place to sit and watch the scenery.

Ship is a little behind more modern ships.

the ship is good

Don't bother with specialty restaurants.

Just book it. It is a great experience.

Looking for a relaxed cruising? going with Norwegian!

Bring some extra things for entertainment, such as books, cards, etc.

Early breakfast or eat in dining area rather than buffet.

Bring magnets and make spreadsheet of what you want to do. They walls are made of steel so can post notes and spreadsheets on the walls.

They do not have public laundry but offer a "fill the bag" laundry service mid week for $20

Don't be afraid to try things. Try new foods, try different experiences. If you don't know about something ASK! They will help you.

You get what you pay for. Not the best experience we have had. We have sailed on numerous other cruise lines, and been much more satisfied.

Forget bringing water on board. They confiscate it. We brought some 16 oz bottles even though we bout 6 1 liter bottles in the room. Try carrying a liter bottle in your purse. Could only get small bottles in the bar for $3.50. ouch! We were very upset with this issue, as my wife goes through 3 bottles a day. Decided to cancel our future booked cruises and went to Princess instead. Norwegian wants to make A LOT on drinks. Bought a bottle of wine in the restaurant for $38.00 and they charged me an additional serving fee of $9.48.

Bring your own coffee cup - the cups are small!

Not one of the newer, huge ships with all the bells and whistles, but very nice and refurbished recently. A lot of specialty restaurants to choose from.
